*UPDATE* After more than 3 years, and more than 60,000 miles, I have to say that the Optima has been through a lot. It has driven in 32 different states, across the golden gate bridge, Mackinac bridge, in Yosemite valley, climbed Mt. Rainier, watched Old Faithful go off in Yellowstone, looked into the Grand Canyon, driven at 140 MPH in middle-of-nowhere Nevada, been down the Las Vegas strip, downtown Reno, downtown Chicago, Manhattan NYC and countless other places. Not a single problem so far!!!
I love the appearance package. My neighbor dow nthe orad has an '06-08 Optima in black with the appearance package. Looks real sexy. I just have the plain jane version, but still love mine.
Do you mean the one with the manual? I would have gotten the manual, buy they only offered it on the LX model. I get dirty at work, and the leather is easy to wipe off. I would wreck the cloth seats!
it's all good, but maybe you should get the 5 speed model, I have it in black and let me tell you something 161 hp can get you a lot of fun. You can do burn outs, 90 degrees turns, climb some 45 or 50 degrees dirt hills (some time I got stuck, but hey it's just a front wheel drive sedan). I think that if got got the 5 speeds and the guts, this car could give you some CRACY momments to remember
Mine is a 2006.5 Its going on 20K miles. And it feels and rides like the day I picked it at the showroom. I love my Kia. All Ive done to it is get some tints .You are right about the grille. I hear that in Korea they got LED lights.
Opps forogt to mention, you have the only two options i didnt order, power adj. pedals and heated seats... I also dont have the built in sun visors for the rear window.
I see you got the apearance package. I got mine in charcoal gray. They are lightyears away better than the previous Kias. Soon korean cars will be as well regarded as japanese cars.....

Mine has everything but the V6. I test drove them both, and actually liked the 4 cyl better. Its power is truly remarkable!

Probably. I love the charcoal grey too. I think that the black grille should come standard though.
