  • My favorite part is the dancing guy at the end lol :D

  • thnx ...my daughter is gluten intolerant ...now i cn make chocolates fr het at home..:) nicely explained !

  • Can you make Burfi? I love burfi!

  • I think he uses milk powder because milk wouldnt give it a "milk chocolate" like consistency when heated, it will turn into fudge, depending on how much milk you put in you will either have a brittle like chocolate fudge bar (too little) or you will have a gooey mess (too much).

In this case, 1 cup of sugar needs a little more then 1/4th a cup of milk but a little less then 1/2 a cup of milk. Thats the tricky part, ive never used milk powder before but now im curious now...

  • Can u use instant skim milk powder fat free?

  • I cant understand him hahaha no offence i love indians!!

  • Thats the way I like it......... Really I will try this one.

  • mr favorite part was 3:22

  • Hey, without cocoa butter, your chocolate will not have the same textural properties as real milk chocolate. There are 6 crystal forms in cocoa butter, and the fifth highest melting crystal allows chcolate to stay in your hands without melting. But with butter, i think it will surely melt in your hands.

  • @MightyRoy thanks for the input, and im sure you have better experience with making chocoates than i have; and the above recipe wi not give the same resuts as the professionay made ones with the cocoa butter you menton, and yes, it is tricky to make the chocoate without sometimes turning it into fudge as other viewers have reported here .. thanks again for the additiona info. :-)

  • mine didnt work.. it turned into fudge :(

  • can you use normal milk?

  • Why do you boil it?

  • @ShaolinHero1 so it melts all

  • @pyromaanisi ahh ok, thank you

  • can you teach us how to make carry ???

  • is it really cheap??dont think so..

  • can we use other type of butter or oil instead of plain white butter??

  • Thank you very much . I just made my own chocs thanks to you, Have a great Easter holiday.

Do you know how to subtitles? So that anybody can understand you much more clearer if you like I'm just suggesting hehe you I don't know how to do subtitles pls teach me if you know. Pls tnx

  • @oldernwiser0 nenu telugu ammaini (I speak telugu too!) I can't find the cocoa powder in my area. Is there any substitute for it?

  • Would you message the ingredients please? I couldn't understand what you were saying. Thanks.

  • the ingredients are given in the 'more information " part of the video :-)

  • It gets rather foggy at 2:36

  • yes, was holding the camera in my left hand and working with one hand, and the steam from the hot chocolate covered the lens momentarily ... thanks for commenting ! cheers ! :-)

  • how long does this take?

  • for the quantity shown in the video, it took me about 10 mts of cooking time, ( excl. the grinding and making the mix ) .. but really, the time would depend a lot on the quantity, and the ambient conditions, the moisture in the stuff etc.. and so i can't offer any correct timings ... cheers :-)

  • Thanks ill use this recipe later!

  • mine keeps turning out hard with a lot of clumps no matter how long i cook it have no idea why it turns out so wrong any suggestions

  • am just guessing,..maybe you need to blend the ingredients in a blender before setting it out to cook ? or have you tried cooking it for lesser time ? maybe just a little more of butter ? sugar usually causes lumps if too much / too little is added ....i'm sure you'll get it right the next time around .. all the best ! cheers ! :-)

  • thanks man appreciate the suggestions i'll try again

  • LOL. Love how you ended the video :D

question, though. what type of cocoa powder should i use?the Bakers kind or is it okay if i used the one to make warm chocolate drinks?

  • i use raw cocoa powder only ..the ones used to make warm chocolate drinks have milk powder etc already in them and i haven't tried with that powder ... thanks for commenting and cheers ! :-)

  • :D

    alright. Thank you!

  • its not chocolate unless it has cocoa powder in it

  • touche ! sorry, i seem to have forgotten to mention cocoa powder in my written recipe part.. and of course you cant get chocolate unless you add cocoa powder in it ! thanks for pointing out ..:-)

  • Oh I wish you showed us the end when it got hard. I'd like to see you break into it and see if it's really like chocolate.

  • sorry, at that time i did not think it was necessary to show the chocolate being broken.. but i remember it did taste good, was like commercial chocolates .. and you need both hands to break that sized chocolates and i would have found it difficult to show since i need one hand to hold my camera ... :-)!

  • Everything you make looks so wonderful!

  • erm...how do you powder your own sugar?

  • out here every blender / mixer comes with a dry grinder attachment - a cup - in which you could grind the sugar into a fine powder ..you would be able to see the attachment in work in my posting titled "mysore pak making made easier " in which i have shown the attachment and sugar being powdered ..hope this helps ...:)

  • just blend castor sugar or use icing sugar

  • I LUV CHOCOLATE!

  • yeah me 2 i work in a chocolate candy and i eat some XD without getting busted XD i love chocolate when i was a kid so i work in the factory and eat them free XD
