This is a very nice educational video about electrolysis! Your prices are really good. I currently pay $85 an hour. As far as the pain goes the numbing cream helps take a little of the edge off from the needle entering the skin but once that pedal is pushed it doesn't matter. I have heard of people who go to a dentist to get a shot of Novocaine to help reduce the pain. I did 6 sessions of laser removal before electrolysis and it did make a huge difference. I don't think laser alone could work.
Thank you for sharing these videos, they were highly informative, I like that you are so genuine and real, it's hard to trust what to believe from potential technicians when they are out for your money but you really care :) thats refreshing. I wish you every success in your practice and Im sure youll have many loyal happy customers to come. Ive subscribed and look forward to any future vidz you release, xxx from New Zealand
yes, it will make a difference. You will no longer have a shadow, your skin will feel softer and will look smoother. If your worried about if people will question you, there are plenty of men who don't have much hair growth on their face.
Hi Julia, I have had IPL and I must admit, I responded very well to it. and it also improved the skin, too. But I do agree, electrolysis is perm and I am currently having an hour a month or five weeks. I was never very heavily shaven prior to transition anyway. But thank you very much for your informative video.
If you are trans and your starting your transition, let me give you some advice about your hair removal. Shaved hair will always leave a shadow and having it removed will soften the look of your skin.
Now having full clearing isn't for everyone but I do advise you find a local electrologist and start right away with at least one hour sessions as it will take about 2 years. If you have thought of laser, you need to know, It's not permanent.
yup :D im gonna get my transgender thing done soon so i was thinking about getting what u were talking about in your video but it just seemed a little to much for what i could just do in like 5min everyday lol ya it would suck but i could save some money
This is a surprising question. When you shave your hair comes back and you have to shave again and again. With electrolysis the hair doesn't come back. Quite a difference!
Hi Julia....my first time running across your channel. I think you're beautiful :-) This may seem an insignificant concern given the topic of the video but has anyone ever said you look like Cher? I loved watching Sony and Cher...especially Cher growing up.
Come back to NY please!!!!!!!! :-(

Wouldn't that depend on why your removing the hair?
juliaprudence 3 years ago
wouldnt shaving be just as good?

Insulated probes protect the skin surface more but are less officiant due to a smaller area of disbursement.
Gold probes are very expensive. I use a two part needle with a gold shank.
juliaprudence 3 years ago
Hi nice to see u again I remember ya. How do you feel about insulated probes or even gold probes?
