@RoseOx Olá. Entendo o seu comentário, mas com relação ao meu gosto pessoal, gosto de música brasileira sim, mas não música futil, como Ivetes Sangalos da vida. Se milhões de pessoas gostam ou não, vão em frente, mas continuo achando essa banda muito chata, aliás, quase todas aquelas de Seatlle, com exceção do Alice In Chains. Gosto de Beatles e Stones que tem muito mais história que esses caras. Mas eu já tentei e tentei achar algo que me prendesse mas não acho nada. E entendo de inglês sim.

Pelo contrário, eles romperam contrato com grandes agenciadores de show, boiotaram suas próprias estratégias de divulgação na mídia e mesmo assim tem uma carreira sólida com metade dos fãs do primeiro cd. Beatles é história e música, mas PJ tá aí na onda deles, com grandes letras e músicas tb já clássicas. Merece respeito tb. Se informe!

@edersem Certa vez Paul Stanley que faz parte do Kiss, ou seja, uma banda que deixa o PJ a ver navios, disse que o Mr. Eddie Vedder, que como cantor é terrível, com aquela mania patética de cantar chorando, tem complexo por ser famoso e coisas assim. Não gosto da banda e nunca gostei Gosto do rock n' roll mais básico como Little Richard e Chuck Berry até o death-metal de bandas seminais como Morbid Angel e Deicide, e acho essa banda muito maçante, aliás a maioria das bandas de Seattle.

Isso é uma fala típica, quase que sintomática de um comportamento muito comum entre os fãs puristas de bandas clássicas. PJ representa, assim como o grupo de Seatlle, um caminho alternativo para o exagero performático das bandas de rock da geração anterior(kiss etc.). Segundo essa visão proposta, fazer música para ter seguidores fanáticos é que é o chato. Competir por fãs é chato.

Sobre o fato de eu ter acessado o vídeo, o fiz apenas por curiosidade, pois sou fã declarado dos Beatles e quis apenas ver o que o terrível Eddie Vedder fez com a canção, e o resultado, como eu esperava, foi sofrível, assim como as versões de músicas de outra das minhas bandas favoritas. Com relação a outra questão, em meados dos anos 90, eles gravaram um disco com Neil Young, chamado Mirrorball, e de tão insossos que são, Mr. Neil poderia ter gravado o disco só sozinho.

"Coisa tenebrosa"... ok, ok. E tu consegue prever o futuro, saber como as coisas serão daqui a 10, 15, 20 anos? Obviamente McCartney e Jagger tem muito mais "importância" pois estão aí desde praticamente a "fundação" do rock, mas isso é motivo para ficar menosprezando quem está na estrada há 20 anos também?
