yes I actually just started wearing different earrings in my cartilage piercing. I wore the hoop til I felt my ear had healed because I just didn't want to take it out til then. It never got infected or anything! I'm wearing a deep ocean blue stone stud at the moment. :)

ok for all the people wondering what it feels like....i just got mine done like a week ago and it feels kinda like getting your earlobe pierced with a gun. its so quick,just a tiny pinch,and it (usually)doesnt make a "crunchy" or "pop" sound...because its so fast....mine didnt pop,nor blead...it was fast and it didnt hurt. im going to get my nose pierced in a few weeks...and im a little nervous...anyone want to give me some help on that?? (;

umm, it depends how high up your ear is pierced on your cartilage whether it pops or not. lol. and no it doesn't hurt, but it is sore after. as for getting your nose pierced...just make sure you know how to replace your nose rings, cuz my friend didn't, and it was an awful time when she couldn't get it out. lol

@xxslb3450xx I know you have probably got it don now, but this person who I met in a shop (she worked there) had her nose peirced and she said it smelt like dead people :P

I wanna get that done twice on my upper cartilage, like where you got yours done, could you discribe the feeling? lol does it hurt alot?

every time i've had my ears pierced (4 times, 3 times stayed) it hasn't hurt as bad as I thought. this upper cartilage one was bad, but it didnt rly hurt TOO bad. it just stung for a bit...and when it went in it felt nasty. it is still sore if i hit it by accident but I couldn't sleep on that ear for a week or so...it might be diff for you tho.

Yoouch, I hear it makes a weird crunchy sound .. thats the only thing I'll have a problem with, haha icky!

@hAfrolocks the cartilege hurt for you? really? I had two done on the same ear in one sitting and it only hurt a little bit the 2nd time ebcasue area was already sore but it didnt really hurt that bad, and i just got another cartilege and my rook done and the rook didnt even hurt that bad, just alot of pressure but nothing i couldnt handle and iv had belly and nose tdone and both my tragus's one has been done 3 dif times those didnt hurt at al either, only one that did was nose

@CelticLove18 everyone's ears aren't the same :)) the only time the cartilage hurt was as it went in, and if I hit it accidentally...
