For the 90's?? Trinitoons its because of the 90's fight scenes like this were produced: The Perfect Weapon, Best of the Best 2, Out for Justice and the other Steven Seagul classics... I grew up on the 90's movies I think they took filming to another level.

Well, if you look at the way "Russo" dies, it's pretty anti-climactic. The problem was that he thought that particular shot was a rehearsal, but the cameras were rolling and the budget was so miniscule that the director didn't re-shoot! Sorry, don't know of any links with other info available, but after quite a few years of studying martial arts under Mark Russo, I can probably answer some of your questions about this movie so fire away!
I was told at the time that Mr. Hunter had no martial arts training whatever, so they had to coreograph stuff with extra care and make heavy use of stunt doubles. He is a fine actor and worked hard to learn how to make himself look good. A less professional actor wouldn't have made nearly as good a show of it.
Really? I read somwhere on geocities that he knew kung fu or something of that sort. So Rion didn't really have martial arts training at the time and yet, he still moves like an expert. It's amazing.

Really? I read somwhere on geocities that he knew kung fu or something of that sort. So Rion didn't really have martial arts training at the time and yet, he still moves like an expert. It's amazing.

LMFAO!!!!!!!!! This used to be my favorite movie in the early 90's!! I still have this fight scene memorized HA HAAAAAAA!!!! This is and will always will be my favorite hand combat scene. Oh yeah, it's fucking hilarious when he gets hit in the back and stomach and he throws up!!!!!! 3:13 and 3:27!!!!!!!
