@DJM3189 DAF and this guys were were among the pioneers of electropunk, of course the electropunk of DAF was the forerunner of EBM, and Portion control's electropunk was "hard rythim electronics".
Today this same term is used to reference Nina Hagen.
BTW, Nitzer Ebb was influenced by both bands, and funny enought Acid House estetics(that look is too fag for a band popular in goth clubs, but can I expect from pretencoius people).
it seems their sound is getting more conventional than progressive. They're also releasing stuff at a higher rate than the early days. Just observations.
