Keith Olberman said it perfectly "One of the worst people in politics" nuff said.
On CNN today:
""We need to be growing this economy, lightening the burden for…the people that can get the economy going. Instead he is layering on burdens. And then, No. 2, he doesn't have the depth of experience to run a large complex organization "
Dude!! You're governor of a state with like 17 people in it!!!!! You don't have the smarts to run a complex organization.....EVER!
And "Lightening the burden for...the people that can get the economy going" sounds like back to tax cuts for the rich, bleeding the little guy dry. Wasn't that dumbya's game plan? Who's out of touch little timmy??????
ahahaha, obama stole 23.7 trillion from the american people and gave it to private banks. So i'm going stand here making metaphors to get rid of big government even though i'm going to be like every other mainstream republican since 1900 and i'm going to expand government. Laugh it up all the way to your FEMA camp.
are any of these unAmerican fascists going to accept responsibility and apologise for deregulating and collapsing the economy as well as undermining America with their sell out outsourcing?
I wish you would stop calling your self Conservative your LIBRALS..stop trying to renvent the wheel you did want to to support the civil rights movement because you were rascist and all of a sudden your the free the pure the devine right to this country please your nothing but a scam ashame of your own shadow scared of compatition you hated black people because they increased the compation pool because most of you were ignorant and scaed the black people were going to take you jobs
Pawlenty doesn't need to talk of Tiger Woods to make examples like this ... just ask Sanders, The Governor of Nevada, Craig, Foley, Haggard .... they are professional "christian" cheaters.
Conservatives love teleprompter jokes while they ... use teplepromters.
Let's see if they like this joke:
Joke:
WHATS THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONSERVATIVES AND AL QUEDA?
ALQUEDA USES COMMERCIAL PLANES TO KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE AND THEY ARE INTERNATIONAL TERRORISTS, WHILE CONSERVATIVES USES PRIVATE PLANES TO KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE AND THEY ARE DOMESTIC TERRORISTS.
(By "their principles" I mean the principles to which they hold, constitutional principles that the founders held to as shown in the constitution and bill or rights: Limited Government, Individual Rights, etc.
You can disagree with those principles, you just disagree with what America has been about from the beginning.
This is probably only meaningful to conservatives, who are open minded enough to process this comment:
Conservatives are the free-thinkers. That's why Air America, the Left's attempt at an open forum on the radio keeps failing. They can't operate without the party.
The conservative tea party movement is an independent movement, not created by any party.
You've got independent thinkers who will vote with whatever party and candidate agrees with their principles.
Amen to that! Yet these are the characters who are attempting to take the reigns of the Republican party, and, on account of all the ignoramuses who blindly follow the party line, they are gaining ground.
Public offices throughout our country are overrun with men and women who lack wisdom and integrity, though they are indirectly responsible for our abject state - the people who voted them in are most responsible. We need a cultural revival, otherwise a very disturbing future awaits.
The fact that I had to write that previous sentence is proof that people can't think clearly. He didn't say break the windows of the white house. He used an analogy and said to knock out the windows of "big government"
Do you think "big government" is a building or a car with windows?
Oh Pawlenty...you must take us all for fools. Wasn't it you who told the Star Tribune "The era of small government is over"?? And wasn't it you that supported and signed an anti-private property smoking ban, primary seat belt, publicly funded Twins stadium WITHOUT a referendum, ethanol subsidies and mandates, "renewable" energy mandates, fiscally unsound light rail, etc. etc. etc. You sir are an opportunist plain and simple. You sir are part of the problem not part of the solution!
@soapboxgod73 Nah it just means he's not a loony libertarian. (Although the whole Twins Stadium thing did upset me, even though I'm a huge Twins fan....)
A picture is worth a thousand words. Nothing better than a visual metaphor to drive home the point(no pun intended). People understood exactly what he meant and they aren't likely to forget it. That means it was effective. It was also picked up by multiple bloggers and other websites. That makes it doubly effective. And to preempt the critics before they start, all of you lefties out there who are going to say Pawlenty is promoting violence, give us all a break. It's an obvious analogy.
This man is a high-ranking public servant and he cannot come up with a better analogy at such a historical event than to relate big government to celebrity gossip? Yet another example of why Conservatives have been suffering over the last several years. I'm filled with sorrow for the residents of Minnesota.
Yelp, I am too they elected Al Franken. At least they got it part right by electing Sen. Bachman. The reason Conservatives have not done well is that we have been restrained by the establishment GOP, well no more. Good bye moderate, hello radicals. It's party time and it's going to be a good time, bring your own nine iron.
If they are establishment radicals then they are the same types, only they are yelling louder. The root of the problem is a lapse in integrity to the inseparable principles of conservatism - primarily a restrained federal government absolved of most of its power beyond the Constitution. It is not worth accepting what we have (big government) on the hope that one who will properly administer it will take the reigns, which is what I attribute to why we see such a large corrupt establishment...
...that is, voting conservatives naively placed their trust in wolves masquerading as sheep. We need the sheep in power - those who are humble enough not to be driven by their own egos, and the disaffirmed interests that prop them up, but relieve the citizens who elect them from the heavy burden of bloated bureaucracy and unimpeded force. But, again, we have only ourselves to blame, as our nation's public offices reflect the state of its populace (both our hope and naivety).
Kinda agree with you that we need humble folks in government, not the huge ego's that run the machines now. We need reluctant candidates.Where are the George Washington's ? What we need is a purge of elected officials. I want Georgetown to have the highest foreclosure rate in the nation. Then we might have a chance for a free market economy and freedom to swing back into it's rightful rhythm.
Go for it TPaw, you seem to bother all the right people.

@waluum who wrote" on account of all the ignoramuses who blindly follow the party line, they are gaining ground"
You're projecting, assuming that Republicans are like Democrats, who Obama told better fall in line and support whatever he does.
If Republicans were blindly following the party line, there wouldn't be the tea party movement.
Show me a movement of people who consistently vote democrat who are organizing rallies that are not condoned by their party.
