mine arrived on monday. it sounds nice but it's horribly setup. out ouf the box it's literally unplayable: high strings and too much neck relief.

lowering the bridge and straightening the neck helped helped but it's still no good. The frets will need leveling & crowning and the nut will probably need to be lowered.

I'm keeping it because it sounds great even with the stock pickups. I believe I'll be able to get it to a playable state soon.

I heard some weird slap from the first frets played clean, like they're too far from the pickups (too high an action, maybe?)

overall, killer sound. I ordered a red unit for next to nothing last week and can't wait to put my hands on it.

you mean the only thing p30 has in common with it's brothers and sisters is the way it looks? I am considering buying p30 (after you said that maybe I should just say 'I was considering') cuz it's parker while being cheap...
