I always thought the opposite - everytime I saw him with Fugazi during the late 90's, he always seemed morose, esp. towards the crowd, like he was fulfilling an obligation. Baby's grown older indeed - and I understand completely; the road has its own burn.
Thanks for posting this! I was at this show and remember the "what the f was that noise" quote exactly. Funny how some things stick in your head. Rockville and MC rule ;)
No dude, Guy lives for just losing it while dancing haha. The reason he's there is because they were inspired to add something like a foil after listening to hip hop.
iw as there! this was the shit! they were always so much better live than on record. I don't like one of their records, cuz they pale in comparrison. good times!
whos this women in the punk dress?

Here at least, he seems to be enjoying himself.

i always feel bad for guy in these early videos, he's never playing guitar and he's just dancing wildly
evanlesco 4 years ago
That's all he did for a while, he didn't start playing guitar until Margin Walker. He was like Fugazi's "Hype Man"

Thanks for sharing this rare live footage of one of Fugazi's first shows.
I had only seen a segment from this show in the 'instrument' film.
They were playing the song 'furniture' if memory serves me correctly.
