@PARamoreSebastian There are some projects on sciencetoymaker that are tricky to get working, but this is not one of them. If you follow directions the Cartesian Diver will work.
could you explain why the pen's cap spun in one direction?why did it spin in the first place?:D..by the way, you're site is the best site i've found to get good physics projects.
As with the pop pop boats (also on scienctoymakerDOTorg) that both push out and pull in water, the outflow is more directional than the inflow. Similarly, you might be able to blow out a candle from half a meter away. But try to put out the candle by sucking in air and you would have to be much closer because the air comes from all directions.
2nd person and by the way use the ketchup packet from McDonalds or Burger King. They work great and I use them all the time! Try it out man! It's awesome!
YOU CAM MAKE IT SIMPLE WITH A BAG OF KATSUP!!!!, instead of that, why dont use a bag of katsup, it worksss!!!, i tried with differents

@Mrthestyle1 The advantage of making your own is that you've made something, and you can see what's going on inside (compression of air).
