@bm124 Hey sir,I'm resitting english next week because last time i got an f and i want to get a C however to get a C i must learn how to plan when writing to argue or describe and i'm not good at spelling and is there anymore videos about spelling and comparing poets methods and I don't know how to study basically i really need your help, please put some more videos +How many words do i need to write when writing to argue or describe to get a C .Thank you.
Can you make some videos for pre 1914, Seamus Heaney, Gillian Clark and Short Stories. Also if you can make a video comparing two similar poems and showing their similarities and differences and how you can go about comparing them
Hi sir thnks alot for the vids i was just wondering if you cud do some english lit poem like carol duffy, simon arm, pre 1914s if u get the time tht wud be so usefull for the gcse lit exam
@BajaGenial Personification is when an inanimate object is given a human like quality. E.g. the tsunami ran across the town. Pathetic fallacy is when the weather describes the mood.
@BajaGenial personification is when you represent an inanimate object with human traits, like erm a savage cage, or lively plane or something like that. Pathetic Fallacy is basically when the weather gives us an indication of the mood of the writer or the atmosphere of the poem or story. So say its a sad story, the atmosphere would generally be grey, raining and if its dramatic there might be thunder involved too.
Thanks for this. I'm a trainee English teacher and this really helped. Would love to see something for the the teacher's though - that is activities they could do as opposed to all the teacher-talk/lecture at the front.
Please some one help me, I've got an exam next week, I really need help.
