@araknos49 i think you have to play without "loop sync" in order to have loops of different lengths... in this song, for example, phrase 1 is 1 measure and phrase 2 is 4 measures.

yea man i think what you have done is fantastic. i love it. your music has even got into my itunes top 25!

however i must say that your technique is very limited. theres only so much you can do with a loopstation. you really need a band. thing about a loppstation is you havnt got the versatility. yea you can change bits and pieces, but you have to do them one at a time. to make big changers there can be gaps. where as with a band its all planned, less strain off one person.

ye... or you can plan the song and have some parts pre-prepared and saved into the loopstation (the pedal he uses - boss rc-50)... then it just becomes a matter of how cunning you are at triggering the patches so that no one notices how much is not done 100% live...

I figure as long as he is always active in the transition with the guitar or something to look at that still counts as live. Becomes more like an electronic artist triggering a song and only having live components...

@nrvana8775 I agree... this one sounds just like Glorious, just sped up and with a different name. But both of them are just so damn good. Doesn't really matter to me that they sound the same. The diversity isn't really present, but thats ok to me, because the musicianship is definitely there and the talent for sure is definitely there. Both great songs

I wonder what hardware do you use: microphones, amplifiers, pedals. Could you share with us? I have a RC 20Xl and i'd like to get the same quality of sound you get. (but yeah, i'll have to practice a LOT to get 1/10th of your skills. And pray a lot to be blessed with your talent).

Don't waste money. Just get the RC-50.  Once you start looping things tend to get out of control and you'll end up needing the RC-50 anyway.

I think these songs are great. It's hard to find someone who uses the looper as a tool for song building and not just grooves or leads. I think you may steer me to be challenged in that direction. Thanks for proving that it's possible to make well constructed 5 minute songs without getting carried away with the technology. (good writing/singing too;-)
