Very good for their age, but the tempo reminded me of a rather worn out, wind-up gramophone - there were several times when it seemed to need winding up, followed by bursts of excessive speed.
very good for their age,I say each of them got a future in musical interpretation,I started at 14 in clarinet in a school which wasnt a musci school, just a high school with a music program,I was the only kid who bonded with his instrument the first year(not including my bro on the trumpet) in the after 4 year of training on my own(no teacher or whatsoever(execpt for classes which didnt really give me any technique students)I was above level than a college student and so are they.kudos children
I can't believe that at all, just have a blackout and have the lights conveniently return for the round of applause, that's such a coincidence. was it rigged?
It's bad recording is what is is. It's not one continuous feed, it keeps cutting. That's why it sounds so out of place and why the tempo doesn't match. I mean what happened to the ending there?
Hahhahahaha this should be in comedy, I've never heard an entire orchestra screw up a tempo all together so completely. FastfastfastSLOOOWfastfast...
Oh, god I hope that was the tape messing up. If it wasn't then that was really weird and something the conductor should have fixed to not make my ears bleed.
we did something like that at our school, execpt it involved a chandelier and small explocives that cautght the curtain on fire...<we where playing Duan jaun from the phantom of the opera...>
I loved it quick and hurrible quality, profeormence sounds great

Those kids are cold as ice. I remember in my youth orchestra, the strings couldn't play in tune.

Playing through a black out would be awesome!
These kids did a great job, especially for so young! We have three bands in our school and atleast one/two don't even sound this good!
Great orchestral performance!

Yes, I recorded on an old tape and it got messed up. My bad.

I understand, I was just saying that to explain to the other people who thought it was the player's fault or something :)

Thanks. Maybe now if they read this thread, they will not beat up on the conductor or students;)
Peace.

It is Mozart on drugs;) Actually, it was the way my DVR downloaded the piece. So...Technical difficulties.
OCCMS 4 years ago
Je pense la même chose que ci-dessous. Les accélérations subites ha ha ! mais tout de même intéressant. Peut être un problème dans la bande son ?
Un peu lourd.
hm...the spontaneous speeding up and slowing down is slightly strange...but it's not bad

emm....my opinion, too many basses so it sounds very slow and a little bit tired.
maybe the orchestra should changed to the smaller one...
yenhui1990 5 years ago
i agree, we only have to basses in our orchestra and weve won gol every year. Number does not equal power

so slow!Too slow...Mozart was crying in his unknown grave when they're playing this rondo.Strange accellerando, the final was horrible!!Good Luck!

It was the digital tape that was whacky.
OCCMS 5 years ago
thts just the camera. watch the conductor and ull see that he/she flicks when the tempo changes
tommyk77 5 years ago
very good job...that orchestra sounds awesome.
The blackout I guess was a way to check who'd been practicing & memorizing their music, LOL!

t think the acclerando is a bit too fast

It also might be that the tape was screwed up;)

Yes, it went total black and they couldn't even see their music. My daughter Meghan was in the Viola section.
