What a load of crap, the main difference between the 360 and PS3 is the disc storage space. 360 uses DVD and PS3 uses Blu-ray.

9 gigs vs 50 gigs, you decide which is better, but DVD does spin faster which is a contributer to why we have to install so many PS3 games to the hardrive.

DVD also has much larger bits than Blu-Ray, so a DVD might have to spin several times faster for the same data transfer rate. Most likely the install thing is because the PS3 just requires data transfers faster than disc access can allow in the way of details you would probably need a big screen high def TV to appreciate. Also, the PS3 isn't a fail sandwich with 6.2 million points of failure.

Actually yes it is more powerful (its processor at least)

ps3: 3.2GHz, 8 cores

360:3.2GHz, 3 cores

It's actually more then twice as powerful, BUT it has less ram, which is EXTREMELY important for gaming, So in the end it is only around 1.7 times as powerful, but can handle much much bigger games (blu ray)

Um they say more powerful because of the cell processor which has 8 cores running @ 3.2ghz. the 360 has 4 cores running @ 3.2ghz so the ps3 is twice the power.

Yes, I have the MTV special but what keeps me from having it uploaded is Viacom. They go apeshit on any material they own that's on youtube and order their channel to be shut down.

Sony's motion sensing technology is different and is actual motion sensing, not shitty IR like the wiis. This makes it accurate down to the millimeter. And not only that, it has the power of the 8 core broadband engine behind it.

Wii uses a cheap, shitty little I.R bar for it's "motion sensing" when actually all it can do is inaccurately estimate where the wiimote is pointing. The wiimote has an accelerometer in it to detect shaking.

Ps3's is actual real motion sensing and uses a high quality camera and easy track sphere with accelerometer built in to help accuracy, you can move the wand in 3d space and have it detected in the virtual world. Wii can't do that. wii sucks ass.

Actually, the wii isn't really selling that many units anymore, infact since the $299 price drop the 120GB ps3 slim has been out selling the wii and xbox 360.

Red Faction Guerrilla

Motor Storm pacific rift

Rainbow six vegas 1,2

Sure some of these games are on 360, but that's not important, none of these games are on the wii wii. Wii only has shitty mario games.

The ps3 slim is 70% cheaper to make, and they only lose about

$50 bucks on the console, but that is easily gained back with the purchase of just one game, but usually people buy lots of games. Not to mention it gives them footing for other products and deals such as blu-ray, blue tooth, there psp, etc etc

This isn't about ps3 or 360, it's about how bad wii sucks ass.

I don't know how 4 and a half years is "soon" but thats the ps2 slim also

First off, the slim isn't a gimmick, it's a vast improvement on the current ps3. They no longer produce ps3 fat. 360 elite on the other hand IS a gimmick. Ps3 choses to keep improving itself even when it doesn't have to as seen with the ps3 slim, and soon to come motion sensing.
