  • heheheh this one is soo funny lmao!!!!!!!

  • lmao "down bitch" hahahaha lmao

  • LOL! fucking halarious.

  • people don't you just get it this is just a JOKE? you're taking things so seriously by bringing all your scientific and studies crap.

  • "The order of the training strategies should be R+ ( reinforcement positive, something wanted ) , P- (a time out, or removal of positive reinforce), R- (reinforcement negative , avoiding aversive), then last is P+ (punishment positive, adding an aversive) . With R- and P+ aversive's are at play and what to avoid as much as possible.

All science based training works the same for all species.

  • Like there is still a Flat Earth Society some hang on dog training based on confrontation fear

AVSAB not first to question this. February 23

2006 in New York Times Dr Nicholas Dodman director Animal Behavior Clinic Tufts University said The Dog Whisperer is a travesty National Geographic helped put dog

    training back 20 years

  • @angeleasfeathers Shut up Angeleasfeather (WTF kind of name is that?) you know nothing of canine behavior. Positive only dog training is reckless and dangerous. If I have to have a treat handy at all times just to get my dog to not knock someone down, to not attack someone, etc. I have no control over my untrained dog.

Why don't you go out and observe nature for awhile and see how it's really done. Then you'll be thinking Cesar Milan is a God send.

  • @SkyPie3 are you a professional dog trainer? I am. And I use positive reinforcement to train dogs. Like most real trainer, i CONVERTED from corrections because it works more effectively!

Ironically, most who criticize positive training know nothing about it. I can modify ANY behaviour in any dog without pain, choking or strangling. AND fade the treats. This method simly isnt neccesary or even long term effective and with a better alternative, its downright abuse.

  • @InDogsWeTrust11

    Yes.

If a 136 pound Rottweiler comes charging at me I will kick it in the ribs. Hard. Abuse my ass. You are a fool. I like the way you liberals persecute anyone who doesn't agree with you yet you believe an aggressive dangerous dog should be handled like a newborn human babe.

Most people do not have time to coddled a dog into not biting their kids, they need it to stop NOW.

Charging money doesn't make you a professional. Sounds more like you're a crook.

  • @SkyPie3 Aggression is based on fear the majority of the time, surrounding a dog by what makes them afraid then adding corrections until they no longer show that fear, associate the corrections with the trigger and also become afraid of the owner. its not a solution, it creates a ticking time bomb for the parents of that baby. it teaches the dog, owner=corrections, abscence of owner=nail that baby hard because bad things happen when I am around it.

  • @InDogsWeTrust11

Please stop prattling on. I have bred, trained, and exhibited Chow Chows since 1989. I have probably forgotten more about dog training than you will ever know.

Anyone out there interested in REAL dog training look up Tom Rose school of dog training.

  • @InDogsWeTrust11

Anyone interested in positive dog training and updated techniques can research Karen Pryor, Jean Donaldson at the San Francisco Academy of Dog Trainers. Read Click to Calm by emma parsons or Control Unleashed by Leslie McDevitt for solutions to aggression or reactivity.

  • All the university studies of the science of behavior and cutting edge trainers since the late 1830 beginning with Skinner have shown that dominance is an antiquated way of training , Try doing dominace with a whale and see where it gets you when all trust is lost between you !

  • Obviously Milan has been able to take this "antiquated way of training" and has made it successful. I'm a doubtful, scientifically-educated person, so those studies starting with Skinner might not have considered the weakness of the trainer's inner strength and inability to project confident, firm, calm, assertiveness. And comparing correcting a domestic dog's behavior to dominating a whale to convince us dog correction is a bad idea is a jump in logic. What happened to ur scientific reasoning?
