@TheMightyKawama I think so too, especially with the gates, but being the best jounin and being better than Minato are worlds apart. It would be interesting to see an older Lee with 7 gates against Minato, but honestly my money would still be on the 4th.
@Bragglord me too but we've seen how fast Lee can be, when he gets older he might be like A ( the Raikage) who was fast enough to keep close to minato, if he does and he lands an attack like afternon tiger on minato (even if it's for a second) then it's over

Man such bullshit. Earlier in the fight Lee broke off a HUGE chunk of Gaara's sand armor with a normal punch. Now at this point after Gaara takes all that abuse from Lee in this "super" state, Gaara is still barely hurt and able to beat Lee.
Totally stupid. There's no way Lee should have lost. It's not even conceivable. If making Lee lose was really all that important to the plot, they should have went about the fight differently, because the way it was, it didn't even make SENSE.
The author must have been drunk when he made this.

As I said two months ago, if making Lee lose was important to his plot, he should have made the fight go differently so that Gaara was invulnerable even for Lee.
The sheer willpower, effort, and determination Lee has for his ninja training is what I like about him. Even while unconscious, he gets up willing to go another round with Gaara. He is definitely one of my favorite Naruto characters.

@DimSum89 i used to do that. 20 lb weights on each of my ankles and it worked, until it started scraping skin off my ankles. lol. u get a helluva calf and quads workout walkin in them though. I often got ppl telling me it looked like i was dragging my feet when i walked.
he might be but with Gaara's current control over sand thanks to Shikaku that pretty much made Gaara near invincible and able to kill anyone with few hand movements and no hand signs at all made Gaara pretty much the best
