  • Awesome video. Bet they could make one hell of a paper football too!

  • one dislike, i guess osama learned his lesson

  • Respect for the flag is unique for USA. Even though patriotic, sometimes they're overdoing it. Nevertheless, very moving video.

  • Very nice video.

    Greetings from Poland

  • "I only regret that i have but one life to give for my country"

God forbid my mother is ever given one of those, but should that time come ill be one proud dead Marine. For all you people against the military. Dont forget that the same blood, sweat and tears that bought my freedom bought yours too.

"I don't want to die for you

But if dyin's asked of me

I'll bear that cross with honor

    'Cause freedom don't come free

    Im and American soldier"

  • very nice!!!! I was not in the army. But I find this very moving!

  • At Gunner09 I was a boy scout and a FMF Corpsman Now I'm a funeral director and have done more military funerals than you've probably seen flag folding. 3 of the guys I served with were Boy Scouts then Marines. Good Marines who gave proper credit for integrity that followed into the corps. Granted Boy Scouts are not Marines but many become the Few the Proud. Esprit DeCorps!!!

  • With Honor to the end! God Bless! Simper Fi.

  • SIMPER FI......!!!!!!!!!!!

  • karamba hurbu zielona pietruszka

  • Holy shit

  • I like the marines even tho my husband was army

  • Amazing video.

I go to Parris Island on February 20th.

  • fuckin right

  • OOH RAH

  • The American Flag takes on the look of a Revolutionary Minuteman's and/or Commander's hat when folded ceremonially (whenever the flag is handled it should be handled ceremonially). The American Flag Is and will always be my object of faith ... Semper Fidelious!

  • Thank you all so much for your service and all your sacrifices for this great Country and for my freedoms! Stay safe, be well and keep kicking ass for America! Hugs, Sparrow Six-Five!

  • Hey Gunner why dont you try earning the title Marine first before post stuff online. I've been in the Corps for 7 years now and I wouldn't think of posting something so disrespectful like that. think before you post.

  • Among Our Brothers and Sisters ! Pro Patria doughboy

  • Amazing Intensity in these young men that represent our country. Makes me proud to be an American. By the way, the close up is my son, Corporal Brewer

  • @mamaofamarine All the way everyday ! Your son is proud to be a Marine, Thank You ! Pro Patria doughboy

  • Just to correct one minor detail in the subject here. They arent laws, although I completely feel they should be, they were never made law, they are only suggestions... :(

  • is folding like this required for all occasions? or is it reserved for more formal military ocassions..

  • thats harcore like all the way across the sky

  • Clowns! Dirty Gloves?! In case you didn't notice they were wearing dress white trousers, which means its summer. Also. they are at Arlington National Cemetery which is on the east coast - humidity. East coast humidity + Dress blues + summer + leather gloves = sweaty hands, of course the gloves look dirty. Perhaps you can do a better job.

  • & currently an Army officer.

  • @Gunnerev09, I applaud your motivation but your lack of tact & insensitivity shows you will benefit greatly from time (not yet) spent at MCRD. The post about the Boy Scouts obviously meant no disrespect to the USMC. Therefore, if you WERE a Marine (maybe 12 weeks from OCT 25) you would have understood he was implying the Boy Scouts look up to & admire the USMC.

Good luck recruit. I appreciate your future military service as a Marine. BTW, I was never a Boy Scout. I am a Marine veteran & curre

  • That lance corporal needs new gloves

  • @Murcielago247 your mama needs new gloves.

  • ironoff FU

  • i dont care if he was comparing or not. boyscouts and marines should no be used in the same sentence marines are anything and everything god speed to all of u, i will be joining u my brothers oct 25th i ship to bootcamp.

  • @Gunnerev09 you should really capitalize Marines if your all about showing respect

  • @Gunnerev09

I served active duty Marine Corps from 1996-2005. I was a SSgt select when I got out and took absolutely no disrespect from kowz4u's comments. The boyscouts are a wonderful organization. The Marine Corps is the greatest military force. He/she was not comparing them and using them in the same sentence shows no disrespect. Once you have served in the Corps you can say what you want about it, that is the freedom serving and America has.

  • @Gunnerev09 I served in the USAF from 1988 -1992 and fought in the Gulf War. Maybe after you've actually served in the United States Military you'll understand the role of the Boy Scouts. Unfortunately these young men, who are learning self reliance, patriotism, and good citizenship, are made fun of by their pears for doing exactly what you hope to do in the USMC.

  • @Gunnerev09 Yeah, its an insult to the boy scouts...

  • 1:22 his gloves are kinda dirty

  • I agree with @Gunnerev09. Oohrah.

  • Gunner needs to chill...

  • I dont think he was comparing the Boy Scouts to the Marine Corps, so relax

  • @kowz4u.......dont EVER compare the marines to boyscouts ever again. thanks

  • @Gunnerev09 thank you so much for that sir

  • @ Gunner The comparison made is within the context of RESPECT FOR OUR NATION AND ITS COLORS. Our Scouts are respectful and honorable young men who know the sacrifices made under our flag. They show respect when in its presence, and handle it with pride and integrity. Dont EVER forget we all share this duty. We are the same in this way. We ALWAYS compare our armed forces to our flag. This is why we respect it so much. Thank you all for what you do! We Love you and will always remember.

  • Very high honor to be allowed to do this.

  • this should be in our schools. I am a ex boy scout leader.when I left my troop all the boys took the flag raising and lowering and folding seriously . all had white gloves as part of the dress code . Thank you for the nice vid. I have my dads Marine corps flag.

  • Powerful!

  • @Ironoff are you really calling the american flag toilet paper? go to hell

  • I remember, My Grandfather received a flag like that at his funeral. For all his years in the Navy.
