good luck! just remember, the first part is the absolute worst, if you can get thru it with your healers at like 20% mana, youre golden

@greensocks51 We actually had a little wipe-a-thon for an hour before we decided to change back to normal and clear through. We did not survive the first part ^^. But we didn't have the best setup for heroic attempts. No 3rd tank available. \o/

I do not think the 3rd tank is the best way to do this fight. It is very important that your healers coordinate their CDs during that first phase. Dont forget things like spirit link totem, rally cry, and aura mastery.

@greensocks51 Well, for some reason, we let our DK tank (he was tanking Halfus) die and then as fast as he could, use soulstone to then get back up and taunt Halfus back. But the healers couldn't heal him up before he got omnomed by Halfus again. Ah well, too late now to do more Halfus Heroic with our current tier. :) Firelands ftw!

Anyway I've download the UI pack that you linked to "smugglare" anyway, this is the first time for me that I'm realy downloading an AddOn Pack, I usualy design my own UI. Anyway when I install it etc, is it suppose to look exactly as ur UI? or do I have to lay everything out and do a hell lot of shit after installing it and logged in? Please respond fast;) Thx

When you download the interface, its going to look awful when you open wow. But i included a readme file, and the info page on wowinterface explains how to set it up.

All you have to do is open the profile section of some of the addons and load the greensocks profile.

Also, the pack is not updated to include 4.2 version addons, a few in there are severely broken, Xforte, recount, omen, to name a few. Simply disable, or update those addons.

That addon is called ForteXorcist accessed via /fx in-game. You can go in my addon pack and pull the config i use out of it if you want.

My UI is a version of Zaxx's UI. I downloaded it from wowinterface(dot)com its called ZaxxUI. Unfortunately he has a much better computer than I do. So all I got from his UI was the basic layout and the border artwork around each of the different panels. I created this one from "scratch" by referencing his interface. Zaxx has quite a few videos on youtube and has linked his UI in a few of them. His youtube account is ZaxxYarg.

We use 2 tanks, a DK and a paladin. We start the fight by having the pally pull the boss and as soon as the adds are up the DK taunts the boss and the pally gathers the whelps and drakes up.

We use Bops to drop the DK's malevolent strikes debuff and if we need to we have the pally taunt halfus so the DK can drop his stacks. as soon as the DK drops his stacks he would take halfus back. But with the DK stacking avoidance this taunt swap is rarely necessary.

@greensocks51 Would probably be better to switch the tanks around since the DK needs to heal for there mitigation as they don't have a proper shield (Blood Shield is only half of there mitigation) and the de-buff wouldn't help this.
