YOTBR is a freaking awesome album... if you've never heard their earlier stuff. YOTBR is their rawest album? It's the most over-produced, right next to NWFT. The songwriting is over-simplified, and some of the vocal arrangements almost made me gag. Pennie is an awesome drummer, which is evident on some of the songs (Guns of Summer, In The Flame of Error), but I prefer the hi-hat raping style of Josh Eppard. I hate to say it, because it does sound gay, but they've gone mainstream.

Yes claudio is playing 3 chords over Travis' main riff in almost all their songs, but the actual riffs and chords are different. They have the same skeleton, if you will, but the flesh surrounding that skeleton is what sets the songs apart, and we happen to think the flesh in SSTB is prettier and more emotional than in YOTBR or NWFT.
