@celticracker - You still have us at a disadvantage... would you mind disclosing your identity to lend credibility to your comments? The doctrine preached by Pastor Carter and displayed through these videos is completely supported and based in Bible doctrine. We have provided a great deal of Scriptural backing for you. Yet, at this point in the conversation, you have still refused to provide ANY Scriptural support for your beliefs. That, coupled with your hidden itentity, is questionable.
@celticracker - Oh yes, there are good, spiritual, saved people going through hard times (we never said otherwise). We don't ignore the fact that hard times come; we just deny their right to remain forever. And yes, we are strengthened through the hard times. But God uses every time of our life to strengthen us... not just the hard times. No one is forcing you to believe the message of prosperity. It is your right to refuse your covenant blessings. We just don't understand why anyone would.
@celticracker - PART THREE: LORD JESUS CHRIST ... He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words." So unfortunately, the only Scripture reference you have provided in this entire discussion doesn't really even support your claim in light of the rightly divided Word. And once again, you lend discredibility to your comments by hiding behind a false identity. You're welcome to continue, and we'll continue to share the Word.
@celticracker - PART TWO: ones you pick and choose to fit a particular set of doctrinal beliefs - but ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine (2Tim3:16), and that all Scripture rightly divided paints a different picture of God's intended life for the believer than your portrait of "living poor, dying poor, and loving it." From your own reference in 1Tim6(v3-4) - "If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, EVEN THE WORDS OF OUR ...cont...
@celticracker - PART ONE: Thank you for providing a Scripture reference - finally. We believe you take Scripture out of context, and though we respect your view, we believe it is completely unbiblical. When rightly dividing the Word of truth in light of all the Scripture that has been shared with you in abundance, it is apparent that God desires to bless his people - not simply for blessing sake, but for the sake of souls and Kingdom expansion. We believe all Scripture - not just the ...cont...
@celticracker - But friend, you provided no Scripture or biblical reasoning for your comments... none whatsoever. The only Scripture posting done here was by us. You are welcome to change that by providing Scripture to back your claims, if you choose. And, it would make your commenting more credible if you were forthright with your identity and didn't hide behind a false name.
@celticracker - May we ask your name, please? Why do you hide behind a false name? Do you have something to hide, or are you just that unsure of your doctrinal positions? We love you with the love of Jesus, and are happy to help you in any way we can, but it would be easier if we knew who you really were. Please provide your name so that we and all who may be reading this may know you're serious. Thank you.
@celticracker - If you love the fact that we approve your comments, why have you gone through & deleted them all? We pray that the Word of God, which we have shared through all of these comments & which is represented by Pastor Carter's teachings, has ministered & encouraged every listener. We pray the comments you see listed here will bless & inspire you, regardless of the fact that the unbiblical comments which inspired them have been removed by their author. God bless you.
@celticracker - PART THREE - If you want to ignore that, you can take up with God why you didn't sow seed to increase the fruit of your righteousness; why you didn't do your part to help win the lost because you preferred to live the poor and unscriptural example of a poverty-stricken kingdom saint. The King we serve cares more for His name and reputation than that. As far as being more interested in demonic warfare, you should be. It will take warfare to break these doctrines of devils off you!
@celticracker - PART TWO - righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God (2Cor9:10-11)." The Gospel is free, but it is not freely preached. God uses money to finance the preaching of the Gospel, and Scripture says that you produce righteous Kingdom fruit when you finance the preaching of the Gospel through giving. Now, you can't give to the preaching of the Gospel if you haven't any money to give. ...con't
@celticracker - PART ONE - Again, if money doesn't interest you, that's certainly fine. You can live without it. It's not the most important thing in life. If you don't want God to bless you, don't worry...He won't! You'll get exactly what you're expecting... Nothing! :) But before you continue down that selfish route, consider 2Cor9:10-11: "Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your...con't
@celticracker - PART THREE - Concerning the catching away of the saints: "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words" (1Thes4:16-18). It's true whether you believe it or not. :)
@celticracker - PART TWO...by saying, "well, Jesus had no place to lay his head." When you learn to rightly divide the Word of truth, you will find the claim that "Jesus-was-poverty-stricken-so-we-must-be-too" mentality to be totally unsubstantiated. Good luck with that one. But the more the true honest-hearted believer discovers Jesus, the more he comes to discover Jehoveh-Jireh, the Lord our Provider; the God of more than enough, excess, too much & overflow. You can't erase the Word! ...con't
@celticracker - PART ONE - So far, you have yet to provide one single shred of evidence that your "Gospel of Poverty" is Scriptural. You haven't provided one single Scripture to support your erring doctrine, whereas we have provided many. The premise that Christ lived in poverty is erring, and unsupported by Scripture. On the contrary, Scripture bears out that He had everything He needed, at the moment He needed it. Many believers find themselves in poverty, and explain it away... continued...
@celticracker The only thing worth preaching, regardless of whether the Church suffers or not, is the Word of God that never changes. And regardless of what is happening TO the Church, the Word of God remains that it is God's will to prosper and bless His children. We may be in the world, but we are not of it. We live by the principles of God's Word and according to the dynamics of His Kingdom... not according to the societal or economic dictates of a fallen world system.
@celticracker PART FIVE:: You said, “im also a republican conservative...it be good to get your basement bible scholars out to deal with me,or delete....thats your choice...:)...are you ready?” Pastor Carter’s political perspective is defined by his values as a conservative Christian with a biblical worldview. It is his belief that Democrats and Republicans are equally vile in their political practices, and that the Word of God trumps all political, racial, social, and economic issues.
@celticracker PART FOUR:: You said, “and i love my life!” ...Then you may have a bit of trouble with the teachings of Jesus, who said, “He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.” (Jn12:25)

If you do not expect God to satisfy you with long life and show you His salvation (Ps91:16), then he will not. You can have whatever the Word says you can have faith to believe. ...continued below...

@celticracker - Greetings...we do not "partner" with anyone who "sells" prayer cloths. If you are referring to the prayer cloth services hosted by Pastor Rod Parsley, whom Pastor Carter is proud to consider his pastor and spiritual father in the faith, then the premise of your question isn't correct. Pastor Parsley offers prayer cloths for any who request them. Of course, mixing praying with giving is certainly Scriptural, and those inspired of the Holy Spirit to do so, should.
