they both remain friends to the very end and they didnt let each other careers get in the way of there friendships and you could tell that their friendships was there and remain after they gone there own way they still remain friends after to,
Listen to what a fine tenor singer Bob Hope was. Not to mention that he was also a fantastic dancer (look up his tabletop showdown with Cagney in "The 7 Little Foys").
Hope did a special with Crosby called "On the Road with Bing," run right after the big whodunit show featuring almost everybody in show business except Bing (with Dean Martin up last), that has, as far as I can tell, disappeared from the face of the earth. I can't even find any MENTION of it anywhere, but it was truly great.
@navydoctrinidad I remember it as being in a class by itself, with loads of fascinating clips of Hope and Crosby gleaned from everywhere along with a long new song and dance performance. A solid hour of basically only the two of them, during which I was glued to the screen like seldom before or since. I don't know if it was simply erased due to some rights settlement or what, but I've never been able to find a single mention of it anywhere, including at the Paley Center for Media in New York.
@navydoctrinidad I was just looking around the internet and apparently there's a similarly named collection of shorts and war spiels by Crosby and Hope but I don't imagine that's it. It's hard to imagine what happened to it, it's the only instance I've encountered of a show built around two performers of that stature simply vanishing as though it never existed. It was so good that a DVD of it would certainly generate superb word of mouth online.

I wish entertainment like this was still around. Those two will never be topped by anyone else ever.

Bing and Bob were great together as well as on their own. Two show biz greats.
