In 07 I left my hometown. SLS played at GZ many many times. They became a household name in my eyes. Now, looking back I realize how they r now a sweet taste of home for me. I have seen how much energy they put into thier shows. The heart and soul this band has for thier work and fans is amazing. Seth is an awesome dude, togather these people r Strait Line Stitch.

I get that its not a "racial thing," but a lot of black people don't want to affiliate with rock cause they think its a "white thing." So it's nice to know they are black people out their informed enough to mention the contributions that blacks have made to the rock/metal genres and sub-genres.

There is nothing like the palpable emotion that one can see in a band when they do their first video or listen to their song on the radio or cd for the first time. All the worry and all the hope. Oh InKa4484, It's their first video. Its not like they have much money. Videos cost a lot. It's probably all they could afford. These 5 Down's video cost them 30 grand. It was just them on stage singing their song "low" with a killer mosh pit. That was it. No rotating stage.

They got the band to stand on a rotating platform and put lights up. Wow. Great idea. I wanna make music videos but if this is what's conisdered good i'd never make it.
