Definitely, if we could do this it would be wonderful, but those of us who have had to teach under NCLB and Open Court, we do not have this luxury. Pre NCLB, we teachers were allowed to be innovative. We definitely had this, but we have never had the money to do what we wanted to. Another problem currently, well two at least...one we have had no vocational education for 15 years, and two...where are the jobs for those who graduate?
