Guys don't have "fits of masculine strength" in the same way that girls have "girly fits". Men make decisions based on logic and reasoning, you know, things that make sense. If we are drunk and some guy is talking shit, then we will have a "fit of masculine strength" which in reality is based on insecurity, fear and lack of confidence, things found in weak men that don't run countries. Yes, I am facinated by many female actresses, but for physical reasons that don't require any idealism.

wait...i saw this a long time ago...but i remember him explaining why he wanted to kill himself to this old guy. and he had regular clothes on, and he admitted to being a regular boy, and then this man decided that he didnt need to put on meds, and that he was ok...where is that part? i think they didnt want u to know where the story was real or not. idk, great movie nonetheless, just bothering me about the truth.

well...I don't think completely! People don't travel much nowadays by 19th century ships--especially ones hijacked by "scoundrels" who sell the passengers into slavery to sultans...just sayin'! I think the point here is that Don Juan teaches the doctor a "higher truth" through his fanciful stories...
