So basically whats happening here is the player issuing 3 move commands during the fraction of a second while the marine fires his gun, when the fire command is over, all 3 marines move at the same time, even though the first move commands happens well before they actually moved...
Consider top players are able to do 3-5 independent actions per second.

You put those three marines to seperate hotkeys and give them move orders while they are firing and voila. Getting them all to fire at the same time takes a bit more practise though...

@thedisc231 He's Russian and at the time he was pretty low level. He practiced for months until he could get it right and uploaded ~6 replays in order to prove it. In the full movie (Pimpest Plays 2004) you'll also get to see him do it in first person. It's legit but it's not an actual game - it's staged and it was not hidden. The pimp move was the micro in itself, not that he pulled it off in an actual game.
@Potts132 We had a couple of decent foreigners (about b-team level in the South-Korean pro scene) but these days the foreign community is as good as dead and the level of play isn't quite as high as it was before SC2 killed it off :P The only time foreigners were really "good" was in the earlier days with Grrr, Elky and the likes.

You would make tanks if he went for hydras as well.

Marines have a 0.3 second "cooldown" on their attack, this is the time it takes for them to fire one burst. Any command being ordered to the marines during this time will be queued. Meaning that he has 0.3 seconds to order each marine to move, which is NOT IMPOSSIBLE. After they've finnished shooting their burst they execute the next command that has been queued, in this case the move command. Repeat.

For the next lurker, the rightmost marine *CLEARLY* moves first, you can barely tell that the topmost marine is the one that moves second, and followed almost immediately by the bottom-left marine.
Pay attention, slow it down. .. . dare yourself to believe that there *are* players that can do things that you're not good enough to do.

While he might be doing that as well to choose a simultaneous attack, just using control would not allow for the marines to all walk in a circle. I heard a different explanation that makes a lot more sense: It was recorded while playing Starcraft on 'slowest' speed, and then sped up to normal speed during the replay. Still incredibly cool and difficult, but that makes sense.
Nobody can click 3 units at once. He probably just has a macro running. He macros a micro so to speak. Still a neat trick if you know exactly what kind of attack and placement everybody will be in ahead of time.

For the next lurker, the rightmost marine *CLEARLY* moves first, you can barely tell that the topmost marine is the one that moves second, and followed almost immediately by the bottom-left marine.
Pay attention, slow it down. .. . dare yourself to believe that there *are* players that can do things that you're not good enough to do.

well its not impossible, but hes using shift and control to select them and move them like that, and u going on about slecting them really fast is garbage

While he might be doing that as well to choose a simultaneous attack, just using control would not allow for the marines to all walk in a circle. I heard a different explanation that makes a lot more sense: It was recorded while playing Starcraft on 'slowest' speed, and then sped up to normal speed during the replay. Still incredibly cool and difficult, but that makes sense.

Nobody can click 3 units at once. He probably just has a macro running. He macros a micro so to speak. Still a neat trick if you know exactly what kind of attack and placement everybody will be in ahead of time.
