Anyone who says Rihanna can't sing is obviously listening for the flaws. Of course she's not going to sound flawless moving around on stage. But she has a great voice and she has a vocal style that makes every song HERS. Not just anyone could have made songs like this and Umbrella hits because she employs something that only she has into each tune. That;s why she gets better with each album and is still on top!

She can sound flat and monotone in songs like Rude Boy so i can see why you say that, but songs like Russian Roulette, Love The Way You Lie Pt.2, Complicated, Te Amo etc, she has good vibrato and isn't flat. Don't forget she is literally just 23, her voice was still maturing and will continue to do so for a few years. Loud is her best album vocally. And P!nk CAN hit higher notes, she often belts high, but doesn't rely on that like other singers.

I agree Kesha is vocally talentless, but she has good songs, if its a good song, it sells. Talent still does exist, but we are moving away from the original point of Rihanna, she can sing.
