so how are the ML's when it comes to off roading? I've heard mixed opinions about it, and just want to get some insight. I'm thinking about getting one, and like to show off.

They neither can reach great speeds nor have a decent offroad performance. Also they're so thirsty at fuel consumption. And has much more taxes have been applied
try this with your x5 or q7....not a chance...maybe only landrover discovery is better off road but much worse on the normal road....i found ml as a best all-rounder and surely an off-road car not as x5 or q7...no hate but i think its true....we have one we have also bought offroad package sa we have adjustable height of the car in 3 levels and locking differentials and dsr is in standart....GREAT CAR...
well interior is basically the same. in terrain gl has longer wheel base so it might be a disadvatage in terrain(but you get adjustable height of the car in 3 levels and locking differentials in standard in GL) and its much heavier car so you wont get same performance from the same engines and you also feel the weight on road...but you get a lot of space inside in the gl but thats actually only thing i think gl is better at.....
impressive, but i wouldn't do this with my ML.
