dude. you would gain some deebeez if you seal it off from the trunk. thats exactly what i would do man if my grand prix had seats that fold down. you should build a box for sub and port forward, seal it off, then record your numbers. its a helluva lot better of an idea bro
You don't think I've thought of that? I've tried every combination possible, and this is the loudest. It's not all about SPL, the fact that I peak at 33 hz is not just by coincidence.
But yeah, my trunk is kind of my Achilles heel... I need to seal it or stop it from moving so much somehow...

Ha I wish I could fit 18's. That 4.496 cubic feet net is about all that can go in there. I do make, plan, build, etc. my own boxes. I don't let anyone touch my car or my stereo.
u might want to check into (wish i knew of a brand or model) pretty much these boxes that you can find in alota churches with the big opening at the top for air. i got a friend with a singel 10 in one of the boxes and i foregot the size of the amp or radio but im sure its nothing exspensive; but you can hear his shit beat like 6-10 blocks away. up close its ratteling ur house's windows
so since you can't fit some 18's, try and mess around with those boxes if you can find them
I would recommend the Havocs to anyone litch915. Customer service is absolutely incredible and the product is also amazing.
The BL (loaded w/ options) will take more power than the Havoc and most likely get louder. The Havoc is more like a Q with BP Power than a BL. The Havoc does have better SQ however, as it gets lower and is slightly more accurate, but it will not take as much abuse as the BL would. Your choice really!
Thanks. Yeah this box made a huge difference... It doesn't get extremely "loud" as most would classify it, as my system peaks out at 142.8 dB... But unlike many systems, it peaks at 33 htz! 142.8 dB @ 33 htz is the best I have gotten so far.. It really digs pretty deep.
I'm planing on buying one, how much did you pay for yours. I want to see if it will fit my budget of $500.
