i have a 2001 ZX-12 and i walk away from busa's all the time, poorly designed bike if you ask me, same with the ZX-14 they are both STRICTLY "staight line" bikes, if you hop on a zx-14 or a Busa its like riding a sofa haha

The 12R never got a fair shake, it was as fast as a busa, but I guess did'nt look as good, I personally love the bike, and when my 14 is paid off, the 12R will be next.

the zx12r is a ninja, but in the USA they also call the zx14 a ninja, where as everywhere else the zx14 is a zzr14 and not a ninja. In the rest of the world for a zx bike to be a ninja it needs to be an "r" like the zx6r zx10r etc all ninjas, but the zx6, zx11 and now zx14 are all ZZRs, different line of bikes.

The busa's real power comes on @ 6000rpm, the zx12's @ 9000rpm, but the zx has more hp at that range. It's a matter of who can rip the throttle harder.
