@NederIndoZ What fault? At that time Indonesia had been colonized and enslaved by the Dutch for hundreds of years and then was occupied by the Japanese. After the Japanese had left in 1945, the Dutch tried again to colonize Indonesia and started the war.

Why do the younger generation have to say sorry on behalf of our elders and national heroes who had suffered and sacrificed their lives for Indonesia's independence? That's absurd.

Wat simpel....er speelde natuurlijk meer dan een alleen een koloniaal superioriteits gevoel.Indo's werden door de Indonesiërs en de Nederlanders niet als gelijken gezien, maar als minder.Het was een groep die tussen wal en schip viel.......en letterlijk.Het enigste wat de Indo's hadden was hun Indisch Nederlandse cultuur en Nederlandse indentiteit of status.Voor de vele Indo paupers was dat het enigste wat ze hadden(sommige waren even arm of zelfs armer dan de Indonesiërs)

Dat is wel heel simpel....zich beter voelen kwam voor, maar dat is niet het enigste wat er speelde.....

Indo's waren nog een koloniaal Europees Euraziatische restant.....een koloniaal foutje.

De Indonesiërs en de Nederlanders beschouwden de Indo's niet als gelijken maar als minder.

Ze zaten vaak letterlijk tussen wal en schip. Hoorde in feite nergens bij.Het enigste wat ze hadden was hun NL nationaliteit of status en de Indisch-Nederlandse indentiteit en cultuur.

@Londo271 Londoh yang terhormat, Daarom vind ik het juist logisch dat orang2 indonesia niet hielden van Indo's wij waren immers aan de Hollandse zijde. Toen zij onafhankelijk werden moesten ze niets hebben van wat blank bloed bezat,. Toen jullie hollanders bevrijd werden van de Duitsers moesten jullie toch niks meer hebben van die 'moffen'. Er waren zelfs hollanders die niet meer door Duitsland heen wilden gaan als ze naar Italie op vakantie gaan.

Is dat wel vergelijkbaar? Je vergeet ook dat de Chinezen keihard werden aangepakt, en niet zo als bij de Indo's.

Logisch...hmmmm....het ligt gewoon aan de koloniale situatie,frustaties, en de mentaliteit van het volk en de Indo's en ook andere dingen...lijkt mij.

@Londo271 Alle vier mijn grootouders zijn onder de Nederlandse vlag in Nederlands-Indie geboren. 3 van hen zaten buiten het kamp en eentje zat in het kamp. ze zijn weggejaagd door de Indonesiers(familie leden zijn vermoord), maar toch kijken zij nu met vol begrip terug naar de djaman bersiap. Mijn ene opa is 5 jaar geleden daar(in indonesië) weer gaan wonen. mijn andere opa en oma hebben een cd'tje met het indonesisch volkslied daarop en bij ons wordt de rood-witte vlag op 17 augustus uitgehange
