  • @SuperCoDMasta

actually, many animals do surpass man's endurance by far!

in the mammal section you have animal's like wolves who can cover 300km a day, and that isnt even "the fittest wolf in the world" just a regular one :)

a dog flea can jump constantly for about 3 days before finding a host.

people have neglected their bodies :)

of course if you train on something specific you will get a better result..

  • I counted 8 press ups.

  • @SuperCoDMasta That isn't true. Sled dogs for example, have endurance humans can't come close to.

  • 110 miles cycling? holy shit balls!!! y have a car?

  • 2:10 wheres the backpack..?

  • Is this the warm up?

  • 1:07 fuck that machine

  • @DeathMetalBoom why? its for shoulders, kinda easy

  • damn that guy is going to be recovering for weeks lololol once he stops

  • good but its a strange record. you should just pick one record and go for that. but still well done

  • Wow, that is pretty amazing.

  • O.O Dammmmnn!!!!

  • @SuperCoDMasta Lol if it's one thing humans are guilty of doing far too often, it's putting the human race on a pedestal above all else. For every strength, we have infinitely more weaknesses and flaws, possibly more than any other species on the planet.

  • he might aswell run round the world

  • i bet he sux at cod

  • my eyes filled with lactic acid just from watching that

  • beastmode engaged

  • what makes me laugh is these men are usually skinn.y. Makes you wonder how the human body / muscles / genetics work - when they dont look physicallh strong but obviously their bodies must be insane

  • Ett tilfelle av God gammaldags overtrening!

  • You have to be kidding me... this is normally what I start my workouts with... beginners... gotta love them. :)

  • the swims not extreamely impressive for this guy but anyone else seems

    hard

  • Great job man. I would get tired trying to count that shi%, no less do it and I'm a gym rat.

  • Seriously, can any complainers on here even do 1,250 push ups in 19 hours, let alone everything else this guy did? "Well, he can't bench over 800 pounds once therefore he's weak???" Come on people, it is a FITNESS challenge. Holistic fitness equals reaching maximum threshold over a very long period of time. I can't do what this guy can do, but I do have experience with marathons/strength training, etc. It's the combination of skills that defines fitness.

  • @fitguru100 He may be the fittest athlete in the world if you just counted cardiovascular and muscular endurance but in my mind that makes up one section of fitness.....Strength, power, speed, agility, balance, flexibility, accuracy and co ordination are all needed to be considered worlds fittest. You said it yourself it's a combination of skills that defines fitness. Best endurance athlete in the world? Probably. Fittest? Definitely not.

  • @jonoc13 yea its overall fitness i can drink 6 pints without need for a piss i can eat a starter curry bread pudding without fartin. you see wat i mean is theres different types of fitness. if someone pisses me off i can smash em in face straight away where it might take someone else longer. you see what i mean

  • @jonoc13 You haven't got a clue about Paddy Doyle then it seems. Check out all his many other records which cover just about every aspect of fitness of which you speak. Jealousy is a bitter thing my friend.

  • @jonoc13 I definitely Believe Robin Simps is Extraordinary :)), Nevertheless The Fittest And Best Endurance Athlete in The World Is None Other Than "PADDY DOYLE" He is untouchable and Has the Most Guinness World Records. He Has Earned The Title & I dare anyone Challenge Him

  • For how many years, and how often, and for how long (each session) would you have to work out to get even half as fit as this? This is a genuine question by the way!

  • @robinsimps good deal man, hell with the haters, keep doin what you do

  • @robinsimps my point is it seems like a pointless record as there is no exact speed on a t-mill you have to do or weight to lift at certain reps. plus never add the weight x reps it makes no sense as lifting 50kg 20 times is alot less impressive than lifting 100kg 10 times. where as by your calculations it equalls 1000kg!!!!

  • good luck in your attempt. Email me when you are going to have a go, would love to hear of your efforts.. If you manage or fancy a challenger on the day I would gladly come along and race you on the day.... Give us the date so we can arrange if your in UK..

  • This was a video showing what was going to happen not the actual footage, over 300 people watched throughout, TV & radio were there the majority of time on the actual day. I do not need to lie about things. Happy for you to come train with me in Leeds anytime and I would gladly show you my work ethics..

  • Lifefitness/hammerstrength gear ?

    what gym is hat

  • their gym looks great!!!

  • Did you eat while doing this?

  • porno music lol

  • i could easily do this...does anybody want to lend me a time machine so i can slow down time? lol That's not even...human...

  • u did all tht in 1hour?tht is immense, how can people not find tht amazing?

  • @sephbreezy he did it in 19 hours straight

  • 110 miles of cycling!!!!!

  • fuck this for a laugh. Nice job though

  • the 12 mile walk wasnt all that impressive but everything els would have killed me.. well i could do the situps.. if i were alloud to puke.. but thats about it.

  • dude what kind of training do you do?

  • the weight looks very little

  • dude doesnt even look like he sweating

  • Wow this is fucking amazing! Did you beat the record? I cant believe it is even possible for the fittest man on earth to do all that in the time allowed.... Well done!

  • most fit guy ive seen in my life

  • i agree with deadman and no im not a fat slob like he probably is but it wasnt insane like many of you were saying. im also not saying it wasnt good, thats how all people should be physically more or less. any average person can reach that level with just a few months of pushing yourself but hes not like superman or anything just a pretty fit guy with good stamina...anyway good job

  • what a fuckin tool...i wish i could do that...i could bang out 79 when i was training for the army but that was a while ago i bet i would stugle to do 50 now

  • insane. i can't get my head around how you can go from being an average person being able to complete 50-odd press ups.. to being able to achieve over 1000. the rate of improvement must be quite significant once your muscles adapt to the endurance demands..

  • if im not mistaken that is the fitness first on kirkstall road in leeds..

  • Thats right, well do for noticing, you must go there to know that for you to be able to tell that? I am in there most days when not outside training or swimming.

  • ENDURANCE!

  • not him

  • Inspiration video.

  • deadman315x doesnt find it impressive beacause hes a fat slob who sits behing his computer all day.

well done to you mate, how did you traing for it? you must be insane :P

  • 1250 press ups? Is that humanly possible? lol. Ur amazing bro.

  • You're just amazing to be honest. I'm really not a person who exercises at all, and that just makes your accomplishment seem even better. I laughed at the person who said "synthol" in the comments - its only a visual thing, it doesn't affect your strength in any way, and it sucks. I hope you are clean of everything, which I think you are, and I also hope that you keep up the good work and wipe Paddy Doyle's records off the Guinnes world record tables.

    Greetings from Finland.

  • he has great stamina and endurance but thats all. there is nothing that is a single feat its everytinhg together. its like iron man really

  • awesomee

  • is this your normal exercise routine?

  • No, I was absolutely knackered for about a week after this. I tried it 6 weeks before and failed passing out at 17hrs (i got the food wrong). May do it again sometime.

  • nice that is unreal hard to beleive somewhon could do all that

  • lolz ..now put him to shoot a basketball after all those weights haha this will be hilarious

  • killer, havn't check the world record book, did ya make it?

  • still think jason bourne would take ya !!.... ha seriously that was incredible jw how did you find pad work in thai boxing no matter how fit I was 5 x 3's on the pads pre fight would still fuck me lol

  • I agree with your comment. I am also shot after 15mins on pads. Love the intense all out pad sessions although not done any for a long time.

  • Call that a workout? Pffft.. He should try pilates! ummmm, yeah right! Insane mate, awesome :)

  • i think u need a medal sir

  • Ma-Chine! Ma-Chine! Ma-Chine

  • if ur so fit how come ur not in the olympics?

  • these vids make me feel so unfit lol

  • machines are the worst way to get fit. they're total crap.

  • Hey just gonna point our.... u forgot the 11kg backpack it showed u walk but without a backpack

  • seriously, how the fuck is it possible to do that many push-ups, how do you bridge the gap fromdoing a hundred to doing thoousands? It doesn't make sense.

  • @deadman315x I think you would be waiting a long time mate please don't hold your breath .Deadman is the man.

  • Good stuff mate. You must be very prou to hold all those records

  • Psycho

  • 100% slow twitch fibres o.O?

  • This is real btw Robin Simpson, one of the fittest guys alive, look in mens fitness u may sim him in a few magazines

  • he;s actually harming his muscles rather than helping them. nonstop? that means he cant eat to fuel and recover his muscles. his muscles are slowly deteriorating

  • @gh4pwner . Thanks, I failed the first time I attempted the record due to the order and not eating enough food. After that I reorganised the events so I could eat/drink more to stop that problem. I lost a stone from the start to finish which can be seen on the photos of the event.

  • So do you want a 19hr vid?

  • haha if its legit, a full on 19 hours? yeah why not. otherwise theres no proof?

  • @binhladinh The original was sent to Guinness. I am too busy to do all the cutting to get the actual footage of vid. Now I have the record and proved myself in front of thousands of people on various races I do not need to prove it is real, check out Guinness World records...

  • @IIDrAGoNx i think it might just be a preview... i think an actually guinness world record offical has to be there to see it and all but ig idk lol.. if its for real this guy is insane

  • upload the 19 hour video plox?

  • @deadman315x Yeah, he just broke a record guiness, which means he is the best in the world, not a big deal... I bet you can do it better.

  • thats hard

  • awesome guy.... i wonder how he did this without losing loads of muscle mass and energy stores....... it seems impossible... Why do this when the main point of working out and excercising is to promote long term health and a prolonged lifespan....

  • Hey man I dont know if your doing crossfit or not but if not look into it. The crossfit games is held each year and the winner is considered the fittest person in the world. My guess is you would blown people away

  • @Killinbr I am into Triathlons now after spending a year trying to learn to swim better. hopefully I will be doing some races this year. I may have a go at cross fit next year but have lost a stone with all the running so may take a little while to get up to scratch. See you there 2011 if you do it..

  • @robinsimps Hey if not in 2011 then ill be there 2012 for sure look forward to competing along side you and other outstanding athletes

  • lol, well it is

  • the body would eat through its glucose stores so fast, then all its glycogen in the liver, then what? some fat but mostly start eating the very muscle it needs to keep doing this ridiculous feat. how many calories did this guy ingest during this?

  • wait. did it just say 300 thousand pounds?

  • how do u even know he did all this stuff. he coulda just done what was shown in the video

  • holy shit!!!!!!

    amazing

i wonder how long it took him to get into this crazy shape o.0

  • Amazing. Well done man.

By the way, all you loser here commenting about how he didn't do it are total idiots. The fact is, he did. If you don't believe it, look it up.

Robin Simpson was named the UK's and for a while, the world's fittest athlete.

    Don't hate.

  • How much weight was lost during all these activites/exercises?

  • @papasmurf604 I lost a stone during the record. The next day I craved salty foods so had fish & chips & KFC, which soon put it back on. The cravings actually lasted for about 3 days which was weird as my diet is normally very clean.

  • @robinsimps Kudos to you my friend...this is very impressive!

  • @papasmurf604 if had a set diet plan, which im sure he did...he probably had minimal weight loss

  • Seriously well done man if you actually managed this!

I just got a couple of queries.

    1) can u send me a link of the constant footage

    2) how come for the 12 mile hike with 11kg backpack, he doesnt have a backpack on? Also, it cannot be a weighted vest, for there is no layer change in the transition between hike-run. Is this a mistake or do I smell a fake?

  • @moogloo1293 This footage is only a video of what had to be done. I used a backpack for the run. I tried to edit the actual footage to add to youtube but as the footage was 20 hrs long in total. It used so much memory on my laptop it crash it, so I just copied to several DVD's. Walk & run had to be done outside and I had to pay a company to come and measure the distance for me. Too many people inc press / TV were there all day to prove it was all done correctly. Thanks

  • unbelieveable.

  • Yea but it would build muscle, right?

  • Stamina.

  • it will build muscle to fit by the environmental stress you put the muscle under. runners look like runners and boxers look like boxers and football players look like football players (typically).

  • incredible

  • this is crazy psycho stuff man, what was he eating/drinking all day? i bet he crashed so hard that night.

  • and on a sidenote to my reply before, i got a while before i reach this, i hope someday to reach this level of achievement, i know with determination and discipline i can, thank you for posting this, you are an inspiration :)

  • Thank you for the kind words. Too many people use youtube to bleet loads of bad comments for no reason. I wish you luck in training for this and hope you can get to a level to beat it. Make sure you get the right people around you or you will really struggle to beat it.

  • This is bullshit

  • No need for pointless comments. If you think it is not true do not watch it. As previous comments, lots of spectators and constant video do not lie.

  • haha i'm sorry there is no possible way he did this

  • 20hrs of constant video footage and lots of spectators do not lie..... Sorry mate this did happen. Thank you

  • wtf his muscles aren't even that big

  • that has little to do with it.

  • Muscles aren't everything. To do this you need Stamina more than anything

  • crap i meant to click the thumbs up lol

  • :( s'cool

  • @Razovllay big muscles don't handle endurance well, endurance athletes are leaner and slim for the most part.

  • I dont believe it for a second. show me the plaque.

  • He should have drank some energy drinks and made some money advertising.

  • I wonder if he did the swim on a simulator machine too

  • haha yeah he was suspended on a series of pulleys held up on by harness lol

  • ha!

  • this guy is FUCKing machine!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • you're wrong there m8.

  • No Blad Your Wrong.

  • At the walk/hike with backpack, why isn't he carrying a backpack?

  • This isn't the actual challenge, just examples of what he was going to do.

  • bet he slept that night

  • expect he`s still asleep lol.

  • He video'd it with 4 camcorders, to get the guinness book of world records to verify it he had to send in 46hours of footage, we had 2 of those 60gb camcorders that ran cotinuosly for the whole event

  • I was therre !!!

  • There was over 12 independent people counting throughout the day. There was also press, and TV in attendance filming the event. The whole event was filmed none stop on 2 differnet camcorders and submitted to Guinness World Records . I hope this answers your questions....

  • Wow, wonder how his muscles get rid of lactic acid buildup...or he doesnt produce it at all

  • think I have a new hero

  • Thats wacko. LOVE IT.

  • how long does it take to build up that kind of stamina, i can only run 1/2 mile and im dead :(

  • Well, then you better start right away ; )

  • haha thanks...

  • For a more serious answer.. It takes years of hard work and extreme discipline. And I don't believe anybody can get That good, you need the right genetics too. But all humans can get very good endurance with hard work!

  • yes i agree with that statement, and for me i think its more of a lung capacity or technique issue for me cause i run out of breath before my muscles get tired (for runnung that is) prob gotta slow my smoking a bit.

    thanks for the info

  • Well, if you want to get into shape, that's better then having to build muscles.

You can get your lunges in shape much faster then your muscles.

And you should definetly stop smoking :-)

  • yea i used to go to the gym every other day untill i injured my shoulders, but i wanted to start working on my cardio more. im quitting to get a job lol

  • Oh, you can still workout out, even if you work every day :-)

Just look at that guy :-) Just be careful with your shoulder !

  • lol miles

  • anywhere from 3-6 months depending on your dedication to achieving your goal, i achieved 13 miles in 2 months of wrestling, running on the side and still playing guitar hero and guitar when i was 17...the main key for me was nutrition, i was strict on how i ate for those 2 months, no greasy foods, alot less smoking, and alot more healthy foods, it's not how much u eat, it's what u eat...after that i stuck around for another month and a half and season was over, enter track season :P...

  • this man is my idol!

  • that motherfucker has some cardio

  • fuckin machine lol

  • I have a question that's been buggin' me... Are the products from BIOTECH bad? 'Cause some people say no, but some say that BIOTECH products have substances which are harmful for the health

  • ?????????????

  • i know him i seen him walking his dog today.

    no lie.

  • situp crunches hurt ur back :(

  • TRULLY AMAZING!!

  • Kreatin, Taurin... maybe Steroids... and what do you get? A Guinness Record! Yeah..right...

  • does this guy really look pumped up on steroids.. IDIOT

  • This is truly superhuman. I cannot believe that, at the rate that you were doing this stuff? I don't know if I could do just one of those (aside from running and cycling)... I'm seriously jaw dropped. Amazing. Truly amazing.

  • No way. How can some one to that and not get dead?!

  • Well Yes way. This has been completed by several people I was just the last to do it and in the fastest time. But thank you. My next challenge in May / June is a cycle from John O'Groats to Lands end and a run back. This also feels like it will be impossible.

  • Dude....I am speechless. Where I thought I was with my personal fitness and body is basically nowhere now that I have watched this. How?!?!?

    Amazing!

  • is this you? cause this guy is a champ you would have to be in such amazing shape to do this

  • Thanks mate. Yes it is me. I am now into Triathlons. Doing a 1800mile cycle in 6 days in June and then hopfully will be attempting the record for the dec ironman at the end of the year. I hope this will then prove I am truly fitter and more disciplined than anybody else. Hopefully I do not sound big headed but it is hard to top this record.

Thank you for the nice comment though.

  • robinsimps, you are really a tremendous inspiration and an unbelievable athlete. i don't know what it is that you do for a living- but as a Navy SEAL applicant myself, (and under the assumption that you live in england) i think your skills and talents would be best put to use if you were to apply for the SAS or SBS.

  • thankyou for being so goddamn awesome. i cant even comprehend this. i have been training to stay in good shape so i understand how hard you must have worked to accomplish this so dont worry about being bigheaded or egotistical or whatever you want to call it because when you are the best you have every right to be. o and i love all the idiots who are saying you didnt do it because you arent really big and bulky. who let them on the internet?

  • and sorry you probably get questions like this all the time but do you know what you can run a mile in time-wise? im a big track guy so i was just wondering

  • I am not a really fast runner especially over 1 mile. I just completed a 10m run training for a 24hr run I am doing next Feb and it took me 58 mins. Not the fastest time but I do not really practice running very fast. I am aiming for a 52min 10mile over the next 3 months.

  • haha maybe compared to world class distance athletes a 58 minute ten mile is slow, but even for most distance runners, that's really really fast. don't sell yourself short. good luck with your training.

  • Duuuuuude massive props on beating the record!!!! That must have been insane. How long did you train for?

  • World's fittest Man...;-0

  • you're probably the most insane man i've ever seen...my football coach would love you

  • my friend has leg pressed 400 lbs. he's 15 and about weighs about 130lbs. how good is that?

  • im 16 144 lbs and i do 720
