These are Panasonic's latest introduction to the Viera family that has now extended to cellphones and hand held video devices. During CES 2008, Panasonic representatives said these might be available in the U.S. later in the year. Let's hope it's true.

Do you have any ideas if Canada will adopt these phones along with the US, or if this speculation is only specifically for US only?

I remember the representative said North America So this might includes Canada aswell. Let's hope they are still planning to release them. I haven't heard anything else since CES.

uhh... docomo has stated time and time again that it won't be releasing any of their contracted phones to outside of Japan. meaning that if your not a resident in japan, you can't buy the phone. This applies to all 905i/tv phones. and they haven't said anything to say other whys

Yes... But I'm the one who know Panasonic people, friend. And if you take a closer look this video is from CES 2008 which was held on January 2008. Panasonic reps make a lot of promises to introduce their products DoCoMo is in Japan this fair was on the U.S. and they're a separate entity from panasonic Corp. The phones are owned and made by Panasonic, Not DoCoMo. They can do whatever they pleased. Contract or no Contract.
