Check out Elvis Presley on the June 5, 1956 appearance on the Milton Berle Show doing "Hound Dog". The video is on Youtube. Elvis definitely had the super moves, light years ahead of Tom Jones. They used to call Elvis the Pelvis. And that show caused a panic in American. That is why they wanted to show Elvis only from the waist up on Ed Sullivan. LOL. Tom Jones said that Elvis was what inspired him in the first place. And Elvis was the master. Check it out. Tom is the student, Elvis the teacher.

This is magnificent! It's Not Unusual was recorded in 1965, but this particular performance was not 1965, but 1969 for his television series (he began wearing a tuxedo with bow tie in 1968 and in this video he has already had the rinoplasty [nose job 1966 or 1967]). He was a true tenor back then, and his voice is positively fantastic.

@wccoope Wow your TJ knowledge is the equivalent of Other's MJ knowledge. Glad someone is watching out for one of the best Blues Singers in History (nose job or whatever); Elvis and MJ both acknowledged his influence. A great voice that is unequaled in rthe last 40 years!!
