@mjdigamon Uhhhhh yes it is.. By rule, after you take 2 steps, you have to shoot or pass. If not it is a travel. He then keeps that pivot foot, yes. He does slide it a bit though and then when he takes another step, its with the other foot that he was using as a pivot foot. He moves it a good foot or 2 before putting his other foot down. So instead of 1,2, pass or shoot. It was 1,2, stop, slide pivot for a while, 3, dribble. Ref's will often let it go though if it is inconsequential

What does being a fan of a basketball team prove you know anything? He didn't travel he took 2 steps. Left foot, Right foot. Then, he lifted his left foot's heel but kept his foot on the ground. Before starting his dribble he pivoted with his right foot several times keeping his left foot planted which would count as no steps due to it being the last foot he took a step with. You are aloud to pivot for room but pivoting will get a player no more closer to the hoop.

I don't know if that's the "worst travel ever", but it does seem like an easy call, especially since the ref is right by him. Michael Jordan (though I loved him) had some of the worst travels ever, but they never called him because he was the face of the league. I saw him play in Dallas and the dude traveled from about halfway between the 3 point line and half court all the way to the free throw line which he took off from. Nobody cared, including the refs, because the dunk was cool.
