My response is that the companies are not targetting gay haters like you, so don't care if you buy from them or not since you are in the minority - e.g. thumbs ups at time of writing for this page are 471 whereas thumbs downs are only 168. By targetting people who don't hate gays, they're 471/168 more likely to make a sale.
