Seriously.. what happened to Medal of Honor. I'm looking at Medal of Honor 2010 and shedding a tear. Not because I love the game. But because I am sad that we've lost such a great franchise finally to the modern war. So sad. First, John Williams composes in a Neoromantic/20th century style and he makes that clear with his works. I wish MOH would go back to the way it was...run and gun, sneak around, and take out entire houses of Nazis with shotguns and bazookas. Frontline was basically the last to do that. I miss that.

In most of the MoH games you are usually a special agent of sorts like in the orginal MoH (for PS1) you snuck around sewers and citys while in CoD 1-3 you were in WWII fighting along with other characters so it depends on what games you are comparing because they aren't all the same.
@TheMedinaPeoples I still remember getting moh underground at the store and I remember on the back of the case one of the features they advertised was something along the lines of "fight with your teammates!" because at that time there had never really been games where you fought along other ai players.

Black Ops is pretty good, can't argue with that, but The only thing that should matter to us hardcore gamers are the controls and storyline.

I will never forget this game. I traded Doom in for this game when I was a little kid. I'll never forget playing it with my cousin when we were little kids, I still remember being scared of the dogs inside of the sewers, haha. Such a long time ago....

Where exactly does this song play in the game? I know it is in Allied Assault, Spearhead, Breakthrough, Infiltrator, Airborne, with a remixed version in Frontline, but I don't recall it in the original. Was it the credits music?

@CamoNick561 not really. In most of the MoH games you are usually a special agent of sorts like in the orginal MoH (for PS1) you snuck around sewers and citys while in CoD 1-3 you were in WWII fighting along with other characters so it depends on what games you are comparing because they aren't all the same.

@TheMedinaPeoples I still remember getting moh underground at the store and I remember on the back of the case one of the features they advertised was something along the lines of "fight with your teammates!" because at that time there had never really been games where you fought along other ai players.

@bestshowontheweb its defferent to the liking than what it really is tho. yes its your opinion, but to tell you the truth, cod games are really just too much. cod has never really been realistic compared to the games like battlefield and the latest MOH. people say the latest MOH is a mw2 wanna be, but mw2 was one of the most unrealistic games there could be, like quick scoping and countless other reasons. MOH and battlefield are there own games, but they are far more relistic. the only reason...

@bestshowontheweb ...why mw2 and COS was more popular because 1, they were hacked and modded easier, and 2, almost every gamer there is likes unrealism better because they think realism is too hard and its easier for them to win and be a noob in unrealistic games. that is the REAL reason why the COD series is more popular. the ONLY reason besides the storyline and good controlls

@ShoguntheKiller Yeah, I play games like these for their story lines. MOH was the first I played, but COD 1 was the first I owned. I still have both, and love them. MW1, WaW, and MW2 all suck. Black Ops is pretty good, can't argue with that, but The only thing that should matter to us hardcore gamers are the controls and storyline.

@bestshowontheweb ...no, what hardcore gamers should want is realism along with the good controls, and thats what battlefield and the latest MOH have, the perfect combo (especially the NEW battlefield 3 coming out, look at the info provided by game informer and such and see it for yourself)

@ShoguntheKiller Okay, then I meant the gamers like myself who play hardcore, but for fun. I hate modern games. Especially what they did to MOH and COD. I like where they should be in the franchise, right in WW2. This modern BS is destroying the loyalty that the old buyers have. People who like the games for their original time periods are all disapointed.

@Airsoftdeathroll I don't know much about the next treyarch game, but Waw did suck to me. The story was played up way to much like in MW2, or over dramatized like in MW.
