I wouldnt consider this a fail really. It's cool to see the underside of the train going over us. But i must ask why a truck driver gave you the finger?? Doesnt seem to make sense.

@TheWaynelds ummm, i dont know. this area, has tons of trucks, its an industrial area, lots of scrungy drivers, along with some friendly ones. he may have been mad, idk...

@trainz675 The shutter speed of the camera (since most point and shoots are auto) that camera couldnt keep up with the speed of the train....at 30mph. lol

next time make a singe leg straight pod attach it to the cam and dig a hole small enough for the pod to fig snug stick it in the ground and ur cam shouldn't move at all...........

@LOCDHONAN this section of track used to have really high ballast, the train hit the camera. now days, this line is very out of shape, the track is jumk, weeds are like 3 feet tall, and trains go like 10 MPH past here.

next time make a single short pod straight leg make a hole mount it to the cam and set it in the ground and it shouldn't move at all............

Next time, surround the camera with rocks or dig the bottom part under the gravel so your camera won't fall.

Yeah, that'd suck. It actually looks like the camera bounced, the lens got hit by a low train car, and flipped over. Well, at least he'll have a souvenir!

nope, it was on a "bad track tie" and bounced, and then fell over, thats all, it was taped down.
