  • The reason he changed it from short board to long so fast is cause it wasn't even on the plate! If he actually changed the boards and then put it back together I'm sure would take about 5 min.

  • Will bone red bearing fit?

  • the only thing i like about this pedal is that you can change the foot board from long to short board

  • they've thought of everything man, game over

  • did you guys see the price drop on these or is it just my mind fucking with me haha

  • @llShadowXll7ll few people is buying because theres nothing new in them, and a changing board size is a useless waste of money cause your just going to use one of them... if you like shortboards, you like shortboards, if you like longboards, you like longboards, so why paying extra cash for both of them?

  • is there a difference between right and left single pedals or are they the same?

  • @ikedrummer theyre the same thing pal.

  • O: sweet

  • second

  • If u have a set with two base drums can you remove the beater and put it on the slave pedal so I can have a pedal for each base????

  • this guy can sell condoms to a Priest.

  • @The666MaDrummer not a big feat if its a catholic priest...lol

  • Can I turn this double pedal for a left handed??

    Thank you.

  • @tariqarruh0 As far as I know, the double pedal converts to a lefty with no extra parts required.

  • Gene could sell ice to the eskimos :P

  • Damnit, this guy truly is an amazing salesman, he's definately convinced me!

  • "What you think is what you'll play"?? Doesn't always work that way. There's a slight problem with that. It's called brain to foot COORDINATION... and Pearl can't fix that. Makes a good sales pitch though.

  • @rosetwitches If you have good muscle co-ordination then that "lag" is reduced drastically.

  • jesus...

    damn seller.

    He convinced me,

  • @pwhite7608 OK ill be waiting(:

  • @pwhite7608 i checked your "recent activity" and your a dumb trash talker copy n pasting your crap

  • What's with the guy interrupting the demo video???

  • @pwhite7608 You copy and paste your trash talk every time.LOL. Idiot

  • @pwhite7608 You need counselling mate for your anger problems.

  • @pwhite7608 your only saying cause u own a tama. fuck off fanboy

  • This pedal is the shiznit! I've had the doubles for almost a year n I still find something new bout em lol they may be expensive but definitely best pedal out there well worth paying $700 for em

  • Man, is this an ugly pedal or what?

  • Can't remove the hinges to make longboard!

    :(

    don;t have the key

    HELP?

  • oh my god...I'll buy those

  • ahaha to much for a pedal

  • copy of the axis a21 laser....

  • great presentation !!

  • i bought them today

    they kick so much ass

  • shame that a pedal costs more than a beggining drum kit

    how retarded

  • i think they would be great for my set!!! ;)

  • These are very gimmicky pedals.

I have used them. I think they want you to spend all of your time fucking around with adjustments so you don't realize you should have bought an Axis pedal instead.

  • @BigVDrums Axis pedals suck, and are not worth my time.

  • best pedal ever!

  • i got to play these at guitar center. man these things kick the shit out of iron cobras the dws and every other pedal like axis and trick

  • i played w/ this pedal once, it is a great pedal.

  • Im getting a job over the summer. Not a penny will be spent of the money I earn till I have these set up on my set at home. I tried them at gc and they feel exactly how he said. Heveanly but wickedly fast.

  • holy crap i want one of these pedals.freakin amazing!

  • I was going to get the Axis longboards. Guess who is getting demon drives now!!!!

  • don't like them, lol. The eliminators are better.

  • I played on these at Guitar Center the other day...damn....that's all i can say. I know what my next pedals are going to be...

  • I played them on double's yesterday, and OMG that pedals r so freaking awesome

  • do you have to get invited to NAMM or can you just rock up

  • this guys a asian billy mays

  • Birry mays here!

  • @garytheagnostic hahaha

  • @slipknotsid88 haha lol

  • @slipknotsid88 lol all he needs is some get with a britesh acsent

  • I remember trying these out at one of my local drum shops......I stayed on that kit with that pedal until it closed

  • what these smartass pedal makers dont get is that the plateboard of the pedal. It gives extra slack even if it had a direct link.

the demon drive has the perfect plateboard and i regret buying my regular pearl eliminator....when i tighten the springs and play fast the board slacks and goes into a pattern where it shadows my foot but doesnt hit it lol

  • this guy is such a good seller.

  • 2:43...

    i did blink. lol

  • which one does everyone think is better for doubles on a single pedal...axis longboards or this pearl demon?????

  • The demons are better, no doubt. I tested them out side by side, and the demons are a lot better. They are much better built and are very very adjustable. Where as the Axis... well you can adjust the beater height and that's it.

  • doubles on a single, i'd do the demon

  • the only thing about axis drum pedals is that if your on tour somewhere and it breaks, good luck finding replacements parts. Pearl, you can find replacements parts. Take that axis!

  • good feel, I have these. I gig 5 gigs a week with them. The bloody felt beaters lasted 4 gigs till they split appart.

now the bearings in the footboard are wigging out.

Their longboard feature is the same footboard size as the Eliminator pedals.

Great pedals but the usual Pearl teething problems are becoming clear.

    :/

  • AMAZING PEDALS!!!! ahhh i got them along with a new pdp x7 set and man they are both professional quality i would say

  • wow

    this is gonna cost

    but it looks amazing

  • i gotta try em out but all guitar centers are far away from where i live anyway thanx for the help dude

  • wow all those flaw with my gay pedals are all resolved on these demon pedals

  • for those who have tried or own these pedals i wanted to know which one is better between this pedal and the Axis AL2CB.. this is for the ppl who have USED both pedals because im undecided on which one to get i want both man Axis looks great in black and alot of death metal drummers use it and these pedals seem smooth but idk never tried none of em axis is 550$ and demon drives are 650$ i just want the best pedals its time to upgrade ive owned Pearl P122TW for quite awhile now

  • i have used the demon drives and i own axis when i used the demons they felt very heavy and i didnt really like the feel of them but that could be because i didnt get that much time to ajust them,i really like the axis but they take time to get used to but totally worth the wait. but the best thing to do is ind a shop that you can test both out and decide for yourself. there were not stores around me so ihad to just make a choice i was chosing between tricks and axis.

  • how much money are these

  • Double is $649.00

    Single is $319.00

  • @WillisMusicFlorence thats not bad

  • heavenly feel, wickedly fast

  • these things are amazing. pearl makes the best pedals, in my opinion. i have the illiminator pedals and theyre so simple but still light and pretty fast. ive tried DW but i cant get used to how heavy they feel. Pearl is #1 when it comes to pedals.

  • BEST SHIT EVER!

I tried it in a music store too.. you just need to tap it with the foot.. and the pedals was wipping in like 200km and in 2 years! O_O

Hehe jk, well it was really nice. I'll buy one myself very soon!

  • price?

  • about 1200 australian for the double and about 600 australian for single, thats if you find a special

  • its like $650 US for a double and like $350 US for a single!

  • does this meen u wont rli need the best foot tecnique to play fast

  • i bought my singles the other week. ive foudn in previous pedals the pedals are never equal in tension etc if you have 2 bass drums, with these i have found they are identical, the longboards make a big diff with speed as well! they are LUSH!

  • these pedals are so damn sexy!!!! too bad i cant drop the $650 :(

  • let me tell you right now this thing is better than the eliminators, iron cobra, and 9000. I know because i've played on all of those. and i just went to guitar center and lined them all up. this thing is smoother than the 9000 and its faster. doubles are way easy. this thing is ridiculous.

  • I have not played on one of these pedals yet. that being said, it's about time someone made bold step towards innovating what I would consider a weak area in set engineering. I really hope that this pedal gives as much room for personal technique as the articles I have read and this video lead me to believe. Here's hoping.

  • That looks.... beautiful.

  • this guy sell the product awesome

  • I'm getting A double :D

  • im a tama dude all the way but i stepped on this pedal at a guitar center and i to check to see if i had really stepped on it cuz it was so light. im definitely savin up for this

  • I WANT THIS PEDAL!

  • i have always played dw's i was very, very sceptacule about buying any product made by pearl

let me tell you guys , this pedal is brilliant !!! they have reinvented the wheel here !!! check out every option ! spend hours with it ,get to know it ! i am very sure that in no time all the endorsers from all the other companies will be "secretley " playing these ,because you can't see them from the audience perspective !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you love to play drums ,pick one up !!!!

  • wow...the sale guy really does well....omg orgasmically crazy pedal...

  • how can anyone say that this is ugly? it looks fuckin beautiful, especially compare to say the Axis pedals or the DW500, its a unique sexy little thing and the middle is like iron mans core lol overall engineering genius

  • played the iron cobra for a few years, the Iron SLOWBRA cant even come close to this pedal.

  • haha agreed man, they are lame as fuck, heavy but no finesse

  • its ugly..............IRON COBRAS AL THE WAY

  • that fuckin dude on the side is pissing me the fuck off !!!! my man is trying to dish out the details of the new jammy and he keeps touchin the damn thing!!!! they got like 20 fuckin pedals on the side to fuckin play with and this fuckin goon gotta put his filthy mitts all over this one?!!?!?! what a prick ! i wish my man Oroku Saki would pull a ninja blade and decapitate that fool !!!!!

  • i wanna be rich !! god!!

  • Looks fantastic, great design, awesome engineering and even a good spokesperson lol.

  • agreed, lol and he sells it well doesn't he?

  • so everybody like this pedal

  • Birthday of a lifetime....................

  • how much do dey cost??

  • Comment removed

  • 650

  • Like around $350

  • at the store near me it was $530

  • in finland, 666 € : D

  • omg... these are freakin amazing...

  • Dude... they cost more then my eastern bmx... but they work sooo well... i would only get some if i was really advanced in my drumming...

  • i played this pedal today for a few hours at guitar center....i own two axis longboards...and can play speeds around 300 bpm with axis... i must say wtf these pedals are incredibly easy to play... i mean they just want to go fast.... if u had to choose between this and axis.... i would choose whats cheaper. cuase i dont think ones better than the other.

  • im surprised, i find that pearl are very sluggish but this pedal seems pretty well thought out :)

  • gif me iron cobra...

  • 0 latency or 0 variation of weight...

latency is for software :) and virtual drums

how ever i wanna see a competition : axis vs pearl eliminator demon... i think this is a monster (just check the price)

  • how much is it?

  • on this wbsite i was on i forgot wut it was but i think it was $258 for single pedal and $658 for the double

  • is the new demon drive pedal faster and better than axis or not ???

  • I put some iron cobra beaters on them

  • fucking beutiful.

odd. you subscribed to my videos, also, i play drums! *spud* odd. thats fuckin beutiful!

  • a lot of useful features, i have axis and i would like to try these, i do think they should have made it a permeant long board tho, because the footboard only gets a little bit long, where as axis have a huge footboard and maximum leverage and power, and i wanna know what they are made of, steel? they look heavy as hell

  • exactly, thts the concern, im gettin axis soon and i plan on stickin with em

  • those other bearings are the shittiest bearing ive ever seen... pathetic...

  • this is a bad ass pedal! it does everything! lol... if i had the money i dont think i could resist buying it

  • I might pick one of these up when im next at the store if they have any :) But still, the Eliminator P2000B is still a great pedal. This guy is a good rep, very well said :)

  • man, these pedals are pure gold, I await the day I have enough cash for these sweet, sweet beauties.

  • my entire drum set alone cost 650, thats with cymbals and hardware, and thats the price of the double pedal!

  • lol if a single is 389 a double must be like 700!

  • I believe the double pedal retails for 687 so with tax OVER 700 :D. Still worth it IMO I wish I could afford one of these babies.

  • the double is frickin 700 dollars...i will admit it looks great but i play with a dw for 300 and its great.

I agree that this pedal is overdone, and the medal only makes like 90 degree spins, so why the full ninja?

  • smoothness,smoothness my friend....and because u can :D

  • Spherical bearing is going to cause the rear hinge bearing and the foot board front connection to wear-out.

Not enough info on the Z-shaft.

I am curious of why the bearing test is stupid---

It has some 'play', but keep 'reality' in mind. A drum pedal barely makes a half a rotation... ever.

I've never gotten 'that sting' from any bass drum beater/pedal I've played.

Spherical clamp (bass hoop connection) gets the nod.

  • I have never tried Axis Longboards or Pearl's new demon pedal. Can I have an honest opinion on which is better, from those who have tried both..

  • Which one of you guys said that you own this pedal??And how did you get your hands on one so fast??

  • NO E-KITS...AXIS FTW

  • Axis WAS the leading pedal, but hate to say, this is much better. Trust me.

    I own both

  • i havnt even seen it for sale any ware on line....but any way thats a personal preference.......if therse no e kit triggers for it...if you know what those are?.....then the pedal isnt for me...and way its just a rip off of an AXIS way......and drummers only think they need a pedal with a billion adjustments...thats all your head.....spend more time practicing and you can do almost anything on any pedal...including a tama camco

  • religiousMurder: Yeah, I know :D I played with Mapex pedals for an year before I got Iron Cobras, then Axis, then these. I can still play with the Mapex ones, but you CAN'T deny, that better pedal give goddamn advantage

  • it is...but theres always a compromise...speed vs power...example i have 2 bass drums so i run single pedals one set of IRON COBRAS and and a set of AXIS LONG BOARDS the axis are more responsive/quicker the iron cobras feel a little sluggish compared to the axis...but the cobras because of the off set cam are the hardest hitting pedals i ever played and are great for metal drummers who arent triggering there kick drums..if im using the axis with out triggers i have to really lay power in to em

  • agreed... ekits are a the shit... i taked to axis today...im hearing of a new kind of trigger that when it comes out is gonne be even better than the ekits! lol.... having a pedal that follows the slightest movement is key for me.. long live axis... all this other shit is a rip off of what axis has already done... but hey... the demon is freaking smooth man i got to give it to em... it is fast.

  • how, is this pedal out yet?

  • Yes,, but very expensive

  • thats such a stupid test with the bearings.. honestly. i'm not gona bother explaining

  • Seeing the demo in person, I am curious of why the bearing test is stupid. Please explain because I don't understand.

  • am curious of why the bearing test is stupid---

It has some 'play', but keep 'reality' in mind. A drum pedal barely makes a half a rotation... ever.

  • the universal joint look like trick's universal joint!!

  • Lol this guy is funny

  • Comment removed

  • wow i want one, too bad its 650$

  • ya i know, that's why i'm selling my DW 9002 to help pay for this. lol

  • hah yea, should sell it on ebay if you arent, those go fast there if its in good condition

  • I am, its in perfect condition, i've only had it for a month lol

  • yea, thats complete garbage, there just using hype to jack up the price. i'll probly wait a long while for the price to go down then pay the proper price.

  • where can i find it ??

  • ahaha yeah but its only 389 bro :DDDD just check musciansfriend

  • $319

  • great pedal, great presentation.

  • there suddising us axis users

  • haha thats a crazy pedal

  • fuck me, thats great!
