  • The song matched the title to a tee....all Domino and Chillz was talking about was things/tales that happens in the hood. Although it was simple,it was to the point but the MAIN reason why people love this song is b/c of the BEAT. This beat is a killer smooth.

  • He did not fully utilize is vocal singing ability. Just listen to the singing in the choral part quite amazing. Domino was up there with other great 1990's urban comtemporary voalists like Dino (H-town), K-Ci (Jodeci), Aaron Hall (Guy) and many others I forgot to mention.

  • I think rappers now days rely on samples and talking about what they got and mimicking other rappers instead of trying to be original. They looking at it all about being a dollar when the truth is no one wanna see a copy cat of another artist. we need originality back on the air ways to show these kids what "real" is

  • hip hop was started with sampling, but i agree rappers now of days like your soulja boys and all that other bull are garbage

Damn...memories are crazy right? lol To think, you can't ever go back to those times again.

  • i would give my right nut to go back these days.....really i would no bullshit

  • Naw man you ain't gotta do that lol. All we gotta do is take over this shit. Cause on the real, the reason things were so laid back and times were good is political once you think about it. We were all being taken for patsies man.

  • I'm 28 and I feel like an old man also...but hell at least we were blessed with the good stuff...unlike today's shit.

  • Man I'm glad I came to you tube to revisit this song. I haven't heard this song in a long ass time, but I do remember this as being one of the best songs that Domino has blessed us with. It's funny because I heard "Ghetto Jam" recently and it made me think of the 90''s, "Sweet potato pie", and this song. I was only 10 when this shit came out, but this shit was too dope. Dope song, and dope movie. R.I.P Lamont Bentley, and shout out to the devil himself Clarence Williams III. Only he can pull

  • Classic from back in tha day 4 Real!

  • a cool old song

  • mc chill from comptons most wanted

  • Why was'nt a video for this song?.

  • There was a video for this song. The video had a lot of clips from the movie Tales From the Hood. The guy who played Hakeem(R.I.P) on Moesha was shown several times in the video. I didn't know that he died until I saw it on here.

  • yall wanna hear some sick shit. I lost my virginity to this song!!
