  • :D

  • This is just.....amaizing.

  • That's not really true, because it is possible to create with Poser real good films and animations like "Nemo" or "Avatar". It's all a question of time, accuracy, knowledge about Poser and the PC-performance.

  • @SirJohnsStatement tbh they dont use poser for those movies. They don't usually use any of the software pieces we know. The make their own software. They might use different software like Poser, 3dsmax, etc, but only slightly.

  • @hessanfeg

That's true, but it's possible to create such animations with poser! All you need is Poser 10 and 100 paid animators

  • @hessanfeg No... most of them use maya for animatioOr did you think the software costed so much cause hobbiest love spending their money? Maybe once every so often they use some outside program but in most cases thats not true... They simply dont need too... They use all programs available to them and are usually on a team.. and in some cases poser is apart of it.. they certainly dont leave anything out...but they dont have some super secret animation software that they've blocked from the world

  • @Demonata1223 well don't get me wrong. sometimes you need something no general-purpose software can do. then you might consider making a very special-purpose software that does only that special task. And they have a bunch of those stuff in the making of every movie or video game.

  • @Demonata1223 and also consider all 3d-scanning hardware/software we don't use at home. so poser then comes of very little interest to them.

  • @hessanfeg Theres almost no special purpose that would require hiring making a entire new software for it...They pretty much have everything covered... The only thing that i can think of that's different then what i said is pixar uses a special animation software... But that was mostly because they had to use many many different computers to render a clip from one of their movies... so yeah... I'm not saying its impossible.. its just very rare

  • @hessanfeg Maya and Renderman are popular for 3d films

  • Transvestite! LOL

  • SHe is under water??

  • Very nicely done.

  • Actually professional animators that do films with it or for gaming use stuff like Softimage. But it isn't as if they do all that stuff alone.

  • Superb..great...great...

  • Very nice work.

  • good work !

shall you tell us what hardware configuration you have ?

i bet a hnd this animation took a long time to render...

  • i told the config in the description of this video :D yea it took me enough time to LEAVE poser forever!

  • thats a good demo video of sydni, did it really take a full day to render. thats way to long, i have poser 6 but i only use it for the character james. its too hard to make animation and it like takes for every to render, i use daz3d,its much easier.

  • Hey she is cute :D haha That Hug was sweet XD Good jub man :) You realy know how to work in Poser 7 :)

  • hey I am new to this programm, I want to get it for xmas and I wanted to know, If you are doing these animations if you need an electronic pen for the pc plus the touchpad , to draw on it I hoe u know what I mean. I am 16 going on 17 and I want to know If It is to complicated to use? I have allway been in to animations and am looking forward for your awnsers ( how hard is the programm? do proffessionals use it(such as the makeers of finding nemo etc.)can I expect to figur things out fast?))

  • Well, this program is not that hard to learn. You need nothing special to create animations with Poser. And to your question about professionals, I have to say no. Pros use more complicated and advanced programs to design their characters. Poser is just an easy-to-use tool for creating character animations. The same animation with those programs requires a great knowledge and hard work.

  • how about the program :toonboom Im hesitating between the two if you know it can u tell me smth about it pls ? I whant to creat storys and let my let my creativity flow..

thx for awnsering my first comment!

  • Poser is a much more realistic 3d solution, while toonboom seems easier to use. Poser is a professional program, developed by some famous companies. It dominates the field of 3d charfacter animation! I'd not hesitate a moment to choose Poser. However, that's me. No two people have the same opinions!

  • I've been using Poser7 for 8 months now (nights and weekends). I know that this is amazing work. I have just now started making animations, my first one had 34 hours render time on a quadcore 4gig sli rig and it used NO PHISICS. I'm to scared to go there yet.

    John

  • Very Good, Well animated for Poser !

  • Nice hair.

  • That hair looks very 1995.

  • Have you tried Poser Pro yet? If so, have you run this thru that to see if there's any improvements as far as rendering time?

  • Not actually. I'm a web developer and this was just a take-a-walk. I never got back to Poser thing again. And I actually don't know what this Poser Pro is. Is it a new version, or a patch or something?

  • Since I don't have it myself, I'm gonna take a guess and say new version. One major improvement is a 64-bit rendering engine to take advantage of 64-bit CPUs and OSes, though I'm not sure if the whole program is 64-bit.

  • O.o

    very crazy

    congratulation^^

  • thanks mate.

  • nice work pal, the face of the lady scares me but really nice, hahaha

  • Poser 5, 6 or 7?

  • 7, it is the first version to have realistic hair and clothing

  • how did you move the hair?

  • after you make the animation, you go to the hair room and create hair dynamics.
