My account logged out, so I figured it was the lag. I tried to log back in and it said my account was still in use, i figured i hadnt logged out fully, so i just waited. I went to log back in, and my character was in the duel arena, dharoks gone and ags gone, ring of dueling was used up....
@keyser66guitarist Are you sure that you didn't download anything else that could have possibly given you a keylogger? I don't know why Swiftkit would announce that they hacked you. That's kind of stupid in my opinion, so I'm going to assume just from that that SK was not part of the problem.
What you need to do is:
1) Never give your password away.
2) Watch what you download. It could contain a keylogger.

I've had swiftkit since it came out and 2 days ago whenever i click Play RS to load up the rs front page, it just says navigation to the webpage was canceled. I've tried redownloading it and don't really know what else to try =/ help would be appreciated
@0llieftw I'm definitely not the biggest computer wiz, and it's not happening to me so I have no earthly clue. If it continues though, you might want to contact the Swiftkit staff and see if they can't help you. They should have a Help forum. Let me know if anything changes.

@UG3T0wnd Yea you should be able to do that. If you go inside of your RS toolbar that has the wrench on it, you should be able to go in and make the game screen resizeable (sp?).
i like the new runescape than the old one... it have better graphics it looks great, i love the new capes and the way the spirit shields look now.... the only thing i dont like its a litle bit laggy

@pur3k0 I'm sure Jagex wouldn't take a major offense to something like that since a vast amount of players use it. If you accidentally talk about it I'm sure if you got in trouble Jagex would let you off easy. They're aware of the program, so I'm sure anything you or any other player would have to suffer would be very light, such as a warning.

@nathanOII Yes and no. Yes as in, if you announce or advertise, that's when you can get reported, even though the program is safe. Jagex lets you do it, even though they aren't 100% sure about the client. It's not a huge company like Youtube is, which you can now mention on the game.
The "disable runescape" button, is used, so once you click "play runescape" and your playing, you can click the diasble because if u accidentally open it, it'll close what ur doing

I use a different style now. I dragged all the icons into the Quick Start portion (next to the Start button on Windows) so I can just open them there. So I practically have no icons on my desktop (sometimes when I don't download stuff) and I can just click the Quick Start icons to get them started.
I have a background I made this time. It looks much cleaner.
@spikermh No it's not illegal because it's so widely used and Jagex is aware of this. However, it's not good to advertise it in the game, but yea it's okay to use. All Jagex does is to not recommend it, but if you do, make sure you go to the OFFICIAL site

not something you MUST HAVE lol. I think you're ok, but if you're unsure about any program, don't download it. Atleast your 'puter will be safe
Alright at the top of Swiftkit you'll find some options. Click on Utilities. The armory should be in there. If it's not in front of you it should be available if you scroll over an option and a side menu pops up.
I think Jagex may be working on one, who knows. Well, even if they did, not a lot of people would switch to it. Technically it's not against the rules to use it, but you just can't advertise it in the game.
If Jagex copied it I'm sure the makers of SwiftKit would have some lawsuit... Just some wild guessed.
But it's safe. You don't have to download it if you don't want. I wanted to inform others what it does. It's kind of like a review ^_^.
Yea, there are good things in old things, but always look on the bright side man. Now people get hacked less, we can change our names, more mini-games (even if some suck), and an awesome Grand Exchange.

Hmm , i have a couple things to suggest to you 1. download avira its free and its about 3-5x better then avg i would say reason being i had free avg for like months but comp started acting up i downloaded avira found about 8 viruses that avg never found but i kept both on my computer and it kept finding many viruses that avg never did and ive never had another virus get past it since also what is ur opinion on its safety? like my account kept getting hacked when i used it im level 122
I've had this program for a year or more (Swiftkit) and I've never been hacked. The only reason I get hacked is because I gave my password out a long time ago. Never happened again.
Also, thanks for the virus update ^_^. I'll check it out. I believe you though, but not all programs find everything unfortunately.

You don't have to risk it, but it sounds like that program is full of junk. And yes, I still use Swiftkit everytime. My computer is safe.

@MrLunt95 I'm really sorry man. Make sure you only download it from the swift(dot)net site.
Also, do daily virus scans. I use Avast! and that works well for me. Make sure the sites you are going to are actually worth trusting.
If you need a review on a site, just Google it and see if anyone else has had any problems with it.
I hope you get your stuff back.

@spikermh No it's not illegal because it's so widely used and Jagex is aware of this. However, it's not good to advertise it in the game, but yea it's okay to use. All Jagex does is to not recommend it, but if you do, make sure you go to the OFFICIAL site

To be honest, I'm not sure. The past 2 years I've used this thing, it's been fine. No one has ever told me that problem, so they are probably wrong.
If you want to get reviews on it you can search around on Google, but I'm in college, so I haven't been playing RS, and I don't know if anything on SwiftKit has changed.
The program is only a recommendation,
not something you MUST HAVE lol. I think you're ok, but if you're unsure about any program, don't download it. Atleast your 'puter will be safe

Yea you can play it bigscreen, but then you won't be able to see SwiftKit.
But yea, don't download anything if you feel bad about it.

Alright at the top of Swiftkit you'll find some options. Click on Utilities. The armory should be in there. If it's not in front of you it should be available if you scroll over an option and a side menu pops up.

Absolutely not. That's why it's allowed on Runescape, but you're not allowed to advertise it in the game.
I don't use bots, and I suggest that you never try them. Your account WILL get deleted, so I highly recommend you don't try it.
But SwiftKit, it's not a bot and it's completely safe.

I think Jagex may be working on one, who knows. Well, even if they did, not a lot of people would switch to it. Technically it's not against the rules to use it, but you just can't advertise it in the game.
If Jagex copied it I'm sure the makers of SwiftKit would have some lawsuit... Just some wild guessed.
But it's safe. You don't have to download it if you don't want. I wanted to inform others what it does. It's kind of like a review ^_^.

Yea, there are good things in old things, but always look on the bright side man. Now people get hacked less, we can change our names, more mini-games (even if some suck), and an awesome Grand Exchange.

Hmm , i have a couple things to suggest to you 1. download avira its free and its about 3-5x better then avg i would say reason being i had free avg for like months but comp started acting up i downloaded avira found about 8 viruses that avg never found but i kept both on my computer and it kept finding many viruses that avg never did and ive never had another virus get past it since also what is ur opinion on its safety? like my account kept getting hacked when i used it im level 122

I've had this program for a year or more (Swiftkit) and I've never been hacked. The only reason I get hacked is because I gave my password out a long time ago. Never happened again.
Also, thanks for the virus update ^_^. I'll check it out. I believe you though, but not all programs find everything unfortunately.
