  • And the Lord said I give you Pot go out and smoke yourself free.

  • The government has no business involving itself with what is, or merely perceived to be, the causation of criminal behavior. They should concern themselves only with crime perpetrated. Of course, it is essential that society consist of maturely behaving adults. But the public must be treated as adults if the public is to behave as adults

  • If any substance causes a person to violate law, then the government deals with it accordingly. After the violator pays his debt to society, the opportunity to behave as a matured adult should be afforded in the liberty to determine whether or not to continue using the substance. If continued use causes another violation, then, once again, the price is paid. Afterward, the person can decide to choose liberty by discontinuing usage or through repeated violations, possibly a life of incarceration

  • But government should never involve itself with criminalizing the causation of crime.

Or shall romance be outlawed, being causative of crimes of passion? Should feminism be outlawed, being causative of criminalizing male genitalia? Should sobriety be outlawed, being the state of mind under which most of history's crimes have been perpetrated?

Should government be outlawed, being exclusively causative of the greatest detriment to the public's general welfare... "AUTHORITARIANISM"???

  • Pro-Gun, Pro-Pot, Pro-family? I like this guy already. I don't use pot and I don't support it, but people should be allowed to smoke it.

  • If I were in Texas, pending more speeches on your part, I would vote for you. Any candidate for any position supporting the legalization of marijuana has my vote almost inherently because of that. It may sound ridiculous but judging by the change that alone would bring to our country would make me feel more happy with living here. economy issues + mega cash crop = less economy issues at the very least

  • My 79 yo mother said the other day that we need to legalize marijuana because of the financial burden it places on society, and the idiocy of incarcerating a person for a stimulant that is no worse than alcohol.

  • You are awsome barry! I am in colorado and have my red card for medical use so I follow the rules of this state but the feds could hurt me if they wanted to. whats really messed up is a point you have kept your eye on is how our federal gov is facilitating a police infrastructure through the "war on drugs" its just a big fat lie to fund and reward this bully pig mentality to hoard control over others the other sick part is locking innocent people in cages for these so called crimes.

  • Hey Barry I like you and what you stand for. I'm a police officer and I know where you are coming from cause I too was undercover for a while. The only thing I want to say to you is 1. Marijuana should be treated like cigarettes(18yoa)2. some of the best people on earth are cops(and some of the worst)3. crack and oxycotin dealers and abusers should be put in prison, for they are more likely to commit violent crimes. Peace and good luck!

  • I use to be a cop out in Alabama and boy am i glad theres someone out there that thinks the way i do about arresting people over somthing that is no harm to others. I have litrally seen people get more years on a drug charge then on a murder case. The United States is to stuck up to understand that this could be a way to pay off our debt before we lose the vaule of american money!

  • Wow, for once in a news interview where they didn't just yell over him with false information!

  • Correct. The prisons have been turned into private predatory for profit corporations, that are feeding upon an innocent public.

  • wow the only rational man on fox news!

Anslinger, to head the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.Secret meetings were held by these financial tycoons. Hemp was declared dangerous and a threat to their billion dollar enterprises. For their dynasties to remain intact, hemp had to go. slang word marihuana and pushed it into the consciousness of America.

  • I love how on some interviews on Fox news, they make Barry look like shit, but at the same time on freedom watch (on Fox), they glorify him. What a funny network.

  • barry cooper for president:) fbg$

  • its amazing isnt it? we can drink rat poison and other carcenigens, things that cause siezures, drinks that cause diabeties, eat silicon, steroids and hormones from all the crap we eat, but i cant smoke a J on the street corner :'(

BTW's weed is only a gateway drug because of how we buy it, you got a dealer he gets some shrooms you buy, he gets pills, you buy, legalized you wouldnt get a connection to harder drugs

  • Who says it is illegal to smoke a natural herb. The law that says it is illegal is itself illegal. The constitution forbids these laws and they have to be repealed now. There needs to be a house cleaning of all unconstitutional laws and the sooner they get started the better. Do you know these pin heads that make laws at all levels even have laws that perscibe how to make love to your wife . As if it is any of there business to tell us about our personal business.

  • although marijauna is not a deadly substance, such as crack or meth. it is a doorway drug. same as alcohol. and illegal. what i'm saying is if a law came across the books making it illegal to drink colored water, people would rebel and drink it anyway. just so they could say, "your not tellin me what to do", no matter what the cost. (when does it end) a law is a law.

  • @shiken012 because the law does not affect you, you don't care. you're like the other blind followers of laws in this country. THIS IS A DEMOCRACY, WHICH MEANS THE PEOPLE RULE. IF THE PEOPLE DON'T LIKE THE LAW, THE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ABLE TO APPEAL THE LAW TO MAKE A CHANGE. THIS IS NOT A COUNTRY FOR THE GOVERNMENT, IT IS A COUNTRY FOR THE PEOPLE. When will you learn?

  • Judge keepin it real.

  • In countries with less restrictive laws, drug use is so much lower. In country's where the government in involved with the distribution of MJ and even recently, heroin, the people who use it end up being productive members of society. could addictive drug really be the additives that are in the drugs? ICE is all chemical and it is more addictive than heroin. People also need to demand the abolition of private jail. There is way too much pressure to find someone guilty when money is involved.

  • PLEASE PPL CHRISTIANITY SAYS SMOKE POT DON'T BE FOOLED BY YOUR PRIEST. (look in the bible)

  • Barry, armed only with the truth, is pure awesome!

  • Is he pro LSD and other hard core drugs?

    Pot I could careless.

    Sell it tax it.

    I won't smoke it.

    Pot is not big deal.

  • Barry Cooper is a great American, cause he has seen the light of truth and now defends the innocent. God bless that man and his family. \m/

  • As a Texan I would like to send this 'older generation' to the express-death-lane here, so they can get a taste of their own medicine.

  • Barry, you are one of the few cops (I have to count ex-cops or the number wouldn't exist! lol) I respect. I almost wished I still lived in Texas just to actually register and vote for you.

  • You are fucking awesome I wanted to meet you lol

  • Nice one barry, more power to you. Pretty shocking that Fox actually produced something of value... but there you go!

  • wow this should have way more views!

  • Barry, first i would love to shake your had for what you are doing. second what do you think about Marc Emery and the bc 3?

  • Watch The anti-terrorist, He is very informative, and he talks about the justice system being in place to collect revenue for stock holders. Look up "The Anti-terrorist - Corporate Revenue." Please everyone that cares about our country and the constitution Please watch this.

  • Watch The anti-terrorist, He is very informative, and he talks about the justice system being in place to collect revenue for stock holders. Look up "The Anti-terrorist - Corporate Revenue." Please everyone that cares about our country and the constitution Please watch this.

  • Everyone should watch this video, This man is very informative. He talks about how the justice system is in place to bring in revenue to stock holders. That's right every police station is collecting money for someone that has ownership of the company. "The Anti-Terrorist - Corporate Revenue."

  • Married his pot dealer? This guy's great.

  • D.A.R.E. is the biggest pusher, Legalize it!

  • (3) HAH this just keeps getting better. This guy also has done at least one interview with the biggest jesuit gatekeeper cia lizard disinfo POS alex jones. Agents work in the same circles kids-- and they go round and round like a merry-go-round. He's either a victim of these people or he's doing what they say for a reason. I see my opinions are nothing near anyone elses here... lol

  • Jesse Ventura for President, Barry Cooper for VP!

  • Isn't it ridiculous that we actually have to fight to get someone to believe that our bodies are ours? How is it that we've gotten to this point? A task force that I am paying for would arrest me for putting something into my body that THEY say is harmful to me. Absurd! For the record, I don't do drugs but I should have the right to if I feel like it. We should ALL be smoking pot!

  • Why is pot illegal?

TAXES, GOOD cheap/free medicine/fuel/clothes and our slavery, err I mean prison system.

Lots of money will be lost if it's legalized, but other, cleaner money, will be made.

  • @UnoRaza You got it!

  • Hey Barry, long time fan and fellow activist, myself and the rest of AZ4NORML (NORML's Tucson Chapter) has you in our thoughts and prayers, and may Jah, Shiva, God, or whatever higher power there may be, keep you and your family safe and well in these trying times. Peace...

  • Local Drug enforcement has been harming the lives of younger generations for the past 30 years through jail time, heavy fines, incrimination, urine test, loss of drivers license , loss of voting rights, and job disqualification here in Gadsden, Alabama all because of our marijuana laws.

  • Very interesting. Good luck!

  • finally a decent interview on FOX

  • is this Fox? the rupert murdoch channel?

  • I Hope you win.

  • Barry can tell you, go to any police department and look at the toys that are owned by the Narcotics Officers and compare them to their official paycheck. The war on drugs corrupts everyone that is involved with it.

  • The reason drugs are illegal is so that the politicians and people and power can make tons of money off of them. The Constitution had to be amended to make alcohol illegal then it was amended to make it legal again. How come drugs are illegal without the Constitution being amended? Short answer is that they knew the public would not support it so they incrementally made all drugs illegal.

  • Barry, you just want to get that cheap walmart weed. hahaha

  • Well said. I personally don't get along well with pot. I'm a drinker but I'd rather be a smoker. You can list hundreds of proven downsides to drinking from physical and mental health. People around heavy drinkers can be put in harms way. With pot there are very few downsides, and I'd argue the opposite. That pot is largely medicinal. Both physically and mentally. If one of the two should be illegal it should be the severely more destructive substance. Not that I think either should be illegal.

  • Just just a minute, I'm older about the Judge's age, I'm a Christian, but I'm not religious because I have a relationship, religion is man made, and I entirely agree with you that what, I mean tobacco's legal alcohol, why not pot, and for that matter of fact I think all this big deal about tobacco is more about politics than it is health and I for one think it is the right of the property owner to decide who smokes on their property not the governments

  • I am shocked! A FOX News program where the faggity hosts didn't cut him off or pull some bullshit out their ass.

Barry was actually able to get his point across. +1 for Fox News (Trust me, it feels weird doing that.)

  • Cannabis is here to stay but you will be gone someday so smoke pot grow your hair and relax you only live once

  • the "plant" is gone too someday...like a single human, but the plant itself is staying like the humand itself......

  • Except he is a pot head, and he is a very intelligent one. Look up the politician Marc Emery. Smarter than you will ever be my friend. And I say that he is smarter than you, because I am too. You think pot is bad, I use to as well then I turned 14 got a brain, did some research, and now I'm a pothead. Google is your friend.

  • @FloridaDiver1989, so you're against his mission to clean up a police corruption problem -- much of it he saw first hand as a top narcotics officer -- and are offended by his long hair. Well, partner, many of your fellow officers agree with you. Of course, you will also find many offended with skinheads, such as yourselves.

  • How did this Judge ever get a show on FOX News! Great interview.

  • @tftmc , if you read some of Judge Napolitano's books, he talks about police and prosecutor corruption he saw first hand from behind the bench. So these two witnesses of crime of our 'finest' on the same show was an excellent idea.

  • Barry, great work (allegedly) setting up the cops to break the law!

funny... the cops are now in the roach control business!?!

  • That was an absolutely wonderful interview, and both of these men are heroes and national treasures.

In a sane world, Barry Cooper would be Texas Governor instead of Rick Perry, and judge Andrew Napolitano would have Glenn Beck's timeslot on FOX> :-D

  • There IS hope!

I'm English & never realised The USA was so far advanced in Re-Legalising this wonderfull substance. I know UK government is so far up the arse of USA government ('cos their scared of 'em), that when it's legal there, it'll be legal here.

PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

  • @WithMoreVolume I couldnt agree more, im from UK and im not waiting for us to end prohibition im waiting for USA...California are apparntly trying...so there is hope :)

  • could some1 PLEASE tell me what bad would come from legalizing weed? ive yet to hear a good argument

  • I would move TO Texas just to vote for Barry.

Barry stay strong........They will try to keep you down.........

    But people ARE listening!

  • Watch "Run From The Cure" By Rick Simpson!

  • The JUDGE makes sense, Fox all I here is Terror, Terror,Terror. WAR, WAR,WAR. oooo the Boogie man

  • Awesome!!!

  • Fox News making sense...

    What universe am I in?

  • UsedRugs LOL, that was precisely my first thought as well!

  • @UsedRugs i was thinking the same thing lmao.

  • @UsedRugs No, I'm sad to say, it's only Judge Napolitano, who is uber libertarian... but there's hope, there's hope for competence.

  • @UsedRugs Judge Napolitano is the only thing worth watching on Fox News. Watch his show, you just might like it.

  • @UsedRugs Napolitano and Glenn Beck are both Libertarians. Beck might seem a little crazy but (believe it or not) these days he makes a lot more sense than most other anchors or talk hosts I've seen lately. I'd like to see them debate Oreilly or Hannity on this issue. it would be good. I can see Oreilly now, steam coming out of his ears, yelling at the top of his lungs about how stupid they are for not agreeing with him. a Harvard grad should know, anecdotal "evidence" does not beat hard facts.

  • barry cooper blinks his eyes more than the other guy

  • TX governor candidate Debra Medina is not a politician. She's the LIBERTY candidate, and follows the Constitution. She will end all property taxes. Endorsed by Ron Paul. Medina for Texas . com

  • You are correct and my apologies to Debra Medina. I could not see the Judge. I was staring into a bright light and had a bug in my ear to hear the judge. It was a long distance feed. I am voting for Debra Medina.

    Barry Cooper

  • @nevergetbusted No Barry, you're not a politician. Debra Medina is trying to be, & that's what her problem is.

  • @nevergetbusted i LOVE u... no homo... i looked up all ur great work!! comment bck plzz thank u

  • those joints where rolled nice as fuck

  • barry concise and nice as always. i am hopeful you will find a place in power in texas

  • Barry I sure hope you get elected for Attorney General, god knows we need someone like you as attorney general here in Texas.

I'm also surprised to see this on Fox News. Really, the tides of change are coming.

  • I believe that Washington D.C. would declare Martial Law and complete military rule to keep Cannabis outlawed, their biggest backer in keeping it illegal is the Pharmaceutical industry who know that when it is LEGALIZED , they will lose BILLIONS annually, the pill manufacturers know that a revolution is coming, but they will still spend whatever is needed to keep Cannabis illegal, they will pay ANY politician whatever it takes to vote against legalization, we still have a huge battle and long way

  • Make it legal and the recession will end fast!

  • Keep goin Barry!!!

  • barry you are a crazy guy. I still love you though

  • I signed in just to say saltfan is an idiot.

No one makes me sign in. No one!

Good interview Barry, I live in Texas and will be voting for you if I ever see your name on a ballot!

  • 2010 will be the year of reform!

Turns things around in Texas, Barry!

  • I think blaming the old people is not completely accurate. The problem is education. These older people were taught to lump pot in with all hard drugs and they are still convinced that pot is addictive, deadly and perhaps evil.

The number one concern is FREEDOM. Personal, private, economic... freedom!

  • I remember this one old guy. He must be over 80 now, and he called pot "dope." When "dope" used to mean harder drugs. It's the whole refeer madness crowd. The baby boomers, as anti-pot as they can be, do at least know better, but they would never legalize it. They are too hypocritical for that. Generation X, they follow too much of the Baby Boomer's lead. Generations after those I think are the most likely to change drug policy for the better.

  • Excellent Barry keep up the much needed great work!

  • I am not a pot smoker myself but I will say if you watch the documentary call 'Super High Me', you will never listen to the Pot war BS ever again! That I promise you!

You have to think about it like this, why are there so many anti-pot infomercials? Where are the infomercials on drugs that actually kill people? Like Cocaine, Heroin, PCP, Vicoden, Crack & Meth? This it why so many young people are trying Meth before they even consider smoking pot. It just doesnt make sense.

    God Help us!

  • I personally have known many people who have died from drug overdoses. I have never known pot to be the cause or even a contributing factor. These young people who died never smoked pot very much, either.

The anti-drug stuff would actually be more effective if we didn't dilute the message by talking about pot, which people know to be ok. Makes it harder to believe about heroin, which is deadly!

Still all prohibition stinks. Accurate information, though, is vital for good choices.

  • Awesome interview Barry. It really makes a difference when you are given an open forum to speak the truth without interruptions from rude commentators. I hope and prey you get the Attorney General position. I support you 100%.

  • saltfan2 Fuck u

  • WTF! Why!?

  • Even wen your not hi you remember how! It is has profound produktive and fasinating properties wen it comes to creativity almost to god to e true..

  • You are obviously an idiot. Your grammar is horrible and you don't make a point. Retard.

  • Saltfan is an idiot.

  • lol!

  • Thumbs up for Barry.. Keep on fighting... It will all pay off one day.

  • I thought Debra Madina was surly ganna support Copper.

  • i LOVE barry cooper, i am so glad somebody is finally saying this stuff, coherently and thorough. wish i could vote in texas

  • Sweet! Hope you win!

  • Put the DEA in jail!!

  • Tell your friends and family. SERIOUSLY~! Most people care not who they vote for the "lesser offices" of politics, most of their attention is with Governors and the like. So if you provide a rapport of Berry to them, they will vote him knowing little to nothing of anyone else running for AGoT. Although it sounds dumb, this strategy actually works.

His "pro-pot" agenda is really the tip of the iceberg. I am even more exited at the other goals he has stated already. ^_^

    GO BARRY~!!!

    ..X..

  • Been a big fan since i've seen you in high times. Keep up the good fight!

  • End the war on drugs. Vote Scott Pigeon for Congress. Google "Scott Pigeon".

  • I'm voting for Berry....

  • Think that is the point -- he was ashamed of what he was a part of!

  • Comment removed

  • @strega420 Judge him by what he is doing now in order to make up for the wrong he openly admits to. I mean, What planet are you from, anyway? You sound like some fundamentalist. What more need he do??????

  • @keytoothed That's just it. He hasn't made up anything. His tips in his dvd's are bad. You should never consent to a search of you're vehicle. If you follow his advise it will land you straight in prison. If you consent to a search than anything they find is totally admissible in court. If you don't consent to a search than you can challenge the search in court. A right you give up if you consent.

  • strega420: his reasons for allowing the search are valid. If your stash is very well hidden, it's less risky refusing the search. Why? Because if you refuse a search than they can bring the drug dog out.

  • @atrickpay11

They can bring out the dog for you're consent to search aswell. They dont need you're consent to bring the dog out, and refusing does not mean they will bring the dog out. If they strongly suspect you have narcotics they will bring the dog out with or without you're refusal.

  • @strega420: yo, but the thing is dude that if you allow the consent the Kops won't be as suspicious as if you refuse.

  • @atrickpay11 Thats not true at all. Cops dont get suspicious simply because you refuse. People refuse all the time. Giving consent wont make them any less suspicious than if you dont, because they find drugs in cars ALL THE TIME when somebody gives them consent. Unless you revoke you're consent they can search you're car for as long as they please thereby defeating this "cursory search" just because barry did that doesn't mean a k-9 officer wont take his sweet time. And they do.

  • @strega420 : i don't know man. You raise some good points, but i'm gonna have to research this more to become certain on a specific position.

  • until seeing barry's movie i was also of the mindset that it would be in my best interest to refuse a search, and i think that if i had contraband hidden in an obvious location i would take that approach. but if i had it hidden somewhere very obscure as demonstrated in the video, i would consent in order to seem less suspicious.

refusing consent is your legal right, but comes off extremely sketchy. and like he said in the video, he found contraband on 100% of those who refused searches.

  • @charliezien Cops dont get less suspicious because you consent to a search. They are still going to look for contraband. They do not care if you consent or dont consent, if they are able to search that car with or without they are going to search it. This notion that refusing consent to search is "extremely sketchy" is non sense. A search is a search. Consent or no consent they are going to look for hidden compartments and the whole 9 yards.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • Strega420 how many times have you been searched? I've been searched many times and refusing always raises suspicion. I've been searched over 200 times by more than 12 different counties that encompass 4 different states. Every time I have refused a search a cop has called for back up and two or more cops would come. It is a lot better to hide your stuff good and let them search you. Most of the time they do a half ass job and take 15-30 minutes of your time.

  • Comment removed

  • @EnigmaMyth Clearly you are a suspicious person. I have never been searched or asked by any officer if he could search in my entire life. I get pulled over maybe once a year if that. If you've been pulled over 200 times than you need to stop doing whatever it is you are doing to attract law enforcement to you.

  • Not suspicious. Just very well known. At one point I was hunted by cops all the time, I would have been a huge catch for any cop. If a cop would have caught me doing what I did, that cop would be a huge celebrity. I have been illegally detained and interrogated before, I use to know cops very well. I will never forget any of my experiences with cops. Your vision of our justice system is one dimensional in a three dimensional world. Corruption is ramped, things are different now.

  • @strega420 His undercover work was crucial in freeing a Texas woman who had been in prison for four years; he sting proved they were corrupt and caused, at least for now, the original sentence to be vacated. No one is perfect, but he's trying. As for the DVDs, those are his opinions based on his experience. There is no full-proof way to survive; this is like any real war. Give the guy a break.

  • @strega420 If you have any info. to back up what you say, I wonder if you would be kind of to PM me with some sort of link or any kind of info. to support this.

  • @keytoothed xcannabis(dot)com

  • @slu2com I'll check it out. Thanks.

  • He was trained by the Fed to be crooked.

  • "the Fed" is short for "The Federal Reserve System" the central banking system of the USA, and strictly a monetary institution. The Fed~ is a term that is used exclusively for that representation. The fed is no more federal, than say "federal express." Barry Cooper has little if anything to do with the "Fed" since he was prior DEA, just FYI, AiresQX4. ^_^

    ..X..

  • I like everything he said except the part about buying herb from Marlboro. They would turn it into an addicting substance like cigarettes. Keep it pure by growing your own!!! Otherwise... ROCK ON BARRY!!!!!

  • most of the land used for weed in mexico is in the mountains or is taken by the cartels from the people. farmers just don't grow weed. i did't like his stament.

  • they could grow weed if it were legal.

  • I know what you mean, but if nothing else it will get people thinking who normally would not even give this issue a second thought. For an issue like this opening up is practically half the battle. If the people in question actually research Berry's statements then they will actually find out the truth is WAY UGLIER (D:) than their perceived reality, or how Berry stated it in this case... then hopefully, the truth should set them free.

    ..X..

  • It it was legal we would just grow it here, bypassing the cartels entirely.

  • Hell yeah Barry! Good luck man! If you dont make it in this time, do NOT give up! I agree 100% about the need for the older generation dieing off before the numbers can amass for real change to occur. You hit it right on the money. My father is a perfect example of what you described. Its simply a known and accepted fact among people who arent blinded by pride and consumed with laziness and ignorance to not to do their own research that pot being illegal is a bad thing on all fronts.

  • Barry Coopers the main MAN...! Rock-on Barry..

  • This is the first interview that I've seen where Barry Cooper was respected as a human and not discriminated against by stuck up fools.

Make a difference Barry, we're all counting on you.

  • @tipsyboyz

If that isn't the truth. Seems about every time someone invites Barry to their show, they also invite 5 other prohibitionist to tag team him.

Funny thing is Barry always puts them all in their place.

    LEGALIZE!!!!!

  • AMAZING! Everyone needs to see this! Vote for hemp! Smoke for health! Thank God!

  • thats sweet if its true I DONT USE ALCOLHOL BUT I LOVE MY CANNIBS

  • kick ass barry

  • NEVER GET BUSTED

  • hahhaaa Fuck yeah dude!!!!!

  • Very hypocritical that you can buy alcohol at any grocery store, drink it, go home and beat the wife and kids, but you can't smoke a joint, chill out, have some munchies and watch TV. Legalize it. Take the profit away from the dealers. Problem solved.

  • BARRY COOPERS THE MAN !!!

  • go Barry! you are the man. If this country goes to hell then texas will probably secede...and thats where I'm goin!

  • WTG Barry!
