Since money seems to be the focus on my comment okay. My initial point was that EBM is dead. He was right for saying it has become very generic but thats why its called genre. But my post said that " I think" as in my opinion. He can say whatever he want. No disrepect at all but I believe that combichrist is the highest profile band out there realisticly. Why wouldnt you want to immulate their success? vlrk thanks for the response :D its nice to see an artist get defensive for once
@Phuckingwhore: What the hell are you talking about? Nothing even remotely related to what you just said was even hinted at in this interview. Plus "making more money" is a stupid statement to make, regarding the EBM/Industrial scene, considering it's such a small market. Basically, there is no big money to be made in this style of music, so why would they even try to do that? Get your shit straight next time before you open your pie hole.
@extol333involute wow an actually troll, and on me im flattered. Anyway, It maybe small but there is a income revanue to be made. If they didnt make any money no one would do it. bottom line. What i said before has alot of truth to it sorry. It has become massively generic and the production has become worse and worse. There are a few that are still amazing but as Sascha Mario Klein said ebm is dead
@phuckingwhore Umm, extol333involute IS vlrk of Grendel, so he knows how much money he's making...
...and regarding having to make money to do it, I know plenty of musical artist with commercially released albums who tour playing live shows, i.e. real musicians, not just wannabes no one has heard of, that most definitely LOSE money doing so, but who support themselves with dayjobs so they can continue doing what they love.
@phuckingwhore And I say that as someone who probably spends/LOSES about $5000 a year on doing Noisescape TV because it allows me to do MY art and work with and help promote bands I love
Despite what he said, there doing it i think to make more money. Look at combichrist, andy has done it for years and has major success, just ask rammstein. He does have a point though that ebm is become massively generic, and his cockiness is not needed. its retarded how he basicly said that before grendel the industrial scene was stuck. I think suicide commando, velvet acid christ and hocico would agree -_-
WTF Ö_Ö NO!! He is the sexiest man I have ever seen <3 *Q*

Their new sound is going to have to grow on me because its so wildly different from their other stuff.
About the changing of Industrial music trends, Angelspit is really bringing something to the medical table so to speak.
