  • Thanks for your reply...this will all come together someday!

  • @stevencorklad You are so right. Think of all the great Irish people you could help, when you put your idea into action.I can tell you that the rewards from such inner work wiil provide far more abundance than you can ever deeam of.....that includes financial, emotional, interpersonal and spiritual. Stay with your great Irish heart and don't let the wrong thoughts stop you. You are about to grasp your inner greatness.

  • O_O

  • @MarioisawesomeXD I respect your need to be safe,secure and.comfortable. and curious.

  • @Wadyano - The key to utilizing our breathing to access what has been held back is to "listen for the sound of the air moving in and out our nostrils"....we all learned shallow quiet breathing, that pumps adrenaline & cortisol into our system and "puts us in our heads". It's very simple but very difficult at first but the more deep breaths we can take the easier it gets & at some point things we have repressed will start coming up.

  • @Androdica Beautifui wisdom and knowledge. You are a very intelligent and giving person. I hope more people listen and learn from You, You have a lot to give. Great contribution.

  • what if you just can't cry. a child in my neighborhood was murdered this week and its eating me up but i simple cant' cry. its a total disconnect, and its coming out as anger.

  • @wadyano wondreful..you are a very loving, caring, compassionate person. you are eating up inside & your feelings are fighting to come out . That's the fist step to a full release & resolution. Keep expressing your anger until the pain & the sound comes out. Your goal is to get the tears to flow. They will come and you will be so much better. One of my trainees worked on getting his tears for a whole year. His persistence & courage paid huge benefit and rewards. You have greatness in you.

  • i understand the wisdome of this buy, geez that was hard to watch. :-(

  • @wadyano But you did watch it,even though it was hard. Your need to explore and learn is a wonderful quality. You can be proud of yoursel for having a understanding heart and a compasionate spirit. If it were too easy, it wouldn't be cahallenging. I sense that you love a great challenge that will help you to grow.

  • I would love to be part of making a centre like that, since trying to deal with my own stuff Ive developed bit of an interest in this area.

  • @stevencorklad What a fantastic idea. Your interest in self growth and buildiing that center is wonderful. You have a need to help others and yourself . You are about to make a great contribution to the world based on the love inside you. I'd be glad to help, since I started the same way, with the same thought.

  • @stevencorklad You are right about Ireland and I have often thought of setting up a growth center there. With the advent of the internet and Skype, long distances are no longer an obstacle to quality therapy. For more information about sessions, please go to my web site PsychotherapyHELP. If you would be interested in forming a growth center in Ireland under my supervision, let me know. Thanks again.

  • What was the name of the song at the end of this video?

  • This seems to be a very powerful form of catharsis.

  • @Kythos You are very smart. A lot of people don't understand the healing power of catharsis, release and resolution. You have a keen sense of what works and you interpret aaccurately.

  • I think this is so important. But I wish Dr. Hannig could give more of an explanation about the connecting part. Because feeling, without that insight, can be good for some people, but for others, it can actually make them worse. Its so important to make the connection to our past, and to realize what a profound effect this has on our present. In fact, I think that we come to earth to recover that lost child. Experience is great, but you can't really grow unless connected to your real self.

  • @Raina430 Brilliant:.You are right On. You are very intelligent and insightful. Go back and look at it again. You'll see that I cover your very important point. Check out Reisa at the end as she shares her insight, connection and integration. I didn't produce that show. They did the best that they could given their Understanding,

  • This is a good path for healing. Doing grief work plus relearning to breathe to invoke the parasympathetic nervous system utilizing diaphragm breathing, allows for the adrenaline flow to be cut back (adrenaline keeps us numb to our feelings) and then we start to be self-calming and integrate the pain and trauma from our past. This is as nature intended: deeper breathing and natural grieving to allow integration and acceptance of who we are, who hurt us, who we hurt, etc.

  • @Androdica how do you go about that deeper breathing to access the emotion?

  • @MrBruce711 connection, integration and completion is the whole point and hypnosis is a great tool to use in one's toolbox. I have used hypnosis, guided imagery and creative visualization for decades. Don't forget journaling and abreactive writing and so many other methods and tools. By the way I didn't miss the point. You did. Higher States Of consciousness were reached by some of primal therapists who left the ""Institute''and went through my program.

  • @phannig what do you mean by higher states of consciousness? are you saying that past therapist of the Primal Institute went thru your programs?

  • I always thought it was strange, when I was grieving for my father few years ago, I had these urges every few days or so to listen to the saddest, emotional songs and just cry my heart out. It felt like I was using these songs to touch the deepest pain and then, when I got to that deep level, release it by crying it out. The urge for these crying sessions came less and less, like I'd released & removed all the pain until I was healed.

  • I'm so glad you posted this. This is something to try. Thanks Dr. Phanning.

  • @lerxt46 @lerxt46 I personally do this therapy entirely by myself, specially if my flatmate is not around lol I don't need to do anything special to get myself into a crying state,I can do it easily;but If it does not come easy for you, watch videos of people in distress, people crying and howling etc....as you are watching them focus on your source/s of pain and stress...and take it from there, tears should start to flow.

Crying gets rid of hormones that make you sad.

  • @111akasha That's great. You're doing the exact right thing working on your own. Keep up the good work. You might want to check out BlogTalkRadio - Dr. Paul Hannig Show and the book Feeling People. If you like, sign up for our newsletter at my web site PsychotherapyHELP.

  • this to me represents true exorcism.

  • @lerxt46 Go to my web site PsychotherapyHELP

  • @lerxt46 Metaphorically speaking, you are absolutely right. Brilliant.

  • It was a great thing to come across this video a while back.Have been doing this therapy by myself and can say without a shadow of a doubt that if it wasn't for it I WOULD BE DEAD RIGHT NOW.

Sometimes I like to watch this video, just watching this video kinda helps.

  • congratulations ...you got it!

  • @111akasha hi. where did are you doing this therapy? i have been reading primal therapy and reichian therapy. How do they get you into a crying state? please message me back ai am fascinated .

  • @lerxt46 I'm located in Chatsworth, Ca.

  • this is like primal therapy, Janov

  • Is there a corrective experience after the session? In the Heimler Method there is a corrective experience after the session, where you imagine yourself as that 8yr old again, but say what you would have wanted to say at the time. This is quite empowering.

  • @4Moonshine1 perfect!

  • to ironjohnlad... you haven't participated in this therapy, so how would you know!? If you tried the method on yourself how did you fail or block yourself from successful completion?

  • Let me ask you a question. Are you or is anyone else responsible for your success or failure?

  • I am glad that you had your need for laughter fulfilled. Deep uncotrolled primordial laughter is a joyful and unforgettable experience.I love it!

  • lmao, thanks i needed a good laugh xD

  • It all depends. There is regression in the service of transcendence. There is regression in the service of the ego. And there is regression in the service of resisting and defending against a deeper truth..

  • i should try this out and see if it works because i tend to really bottle up my feelings and then when i do cry it seems silly to others.

  • @misst18202 are you going to do this for yourself or others? Who are these others? It doesn't seem silly to me. In fact, it seems quite intelligent to want to open yourself up to you.

  • @misst18202 Thank you for being honest!

  • Wow, I want to do that! I feel kind of a release just watching them scream!! LOL

  • @FoxZo83 good for you

  • where can i find this treatment in Canada , ontario?
