  • Saw one of your videos in the Featured section and it looked interesting. I am very glad I did, I have only seen a few so far, but it seems like this would be a great way to learn some basic Arabic phrases, and who can't use another language to speak, right? I am very disappointed by the tone of many comments on this channel, even for YouTube they are very rude, I hope you are not too discouraged by them. Thanks for this series, you just got 1 more subscriber.

  • This is great!!! Thank you for teaching us arabic!!!... I've always wanted to learn and never found anybody to teach me the language (except the foul words lol)... :)

  • why would anyone care about learning a taliban language, start but cleanin up ur stpid accent

  • @hottiehotcuban21 this is not Taliban language it's Arabic language , and the people in Taliban their first language is not Arabic !!

  • @Dematren TALIBAN IS NOT A COUNTRY ITS AFGANISTAN and they speak pashto

  • @Dematren Do not mind that moron, he is simply a mislead American and is, like most Americans, prejudice towards Muslims and Arabs.

  • @Dematren I wish all these Taliban and Al Qaeda would just make their own language and use that so as not to stain Arabic for all the good Arabs in the world...

  • @YusufRasafah Same thing for Farsi/Persian, they disgrace the language and the people.

  • @Dematren It's Pashto or Punjabi, in fact, and probably some other dialects from Urdu.

  • @hottiehotcuban21 hahaha you must be american

  • good god, you`ve got beautiful eyes!

  • الله يبارك فيك

  • For those of us who have no children, you didn't tell us how to say "no", or "do not have". Here's my best guess: Ana la i'ndee awlaad'.

  • @AhuitzotlTlazohtla

you are so close to it , the right one is (ana lysa 'indee awlaad) but we don't say it like that usually , we say (lysa 'indee awlaad) with out ana

  • @TheChelseanation شكرا

  • This is so much fun! and you are a wonderful teacher.

My new Muslim friend is in for a nice surprise, when i start speaking her language.

    Thank you.

  • Vederti mentre spieghi l 'arabo in inglese sei di una bravura rara sembri come una funambolista in equilibrio speciale tra 2 culture così distanti, un paradosso linguistico perfetto...incredibile...BRAVAAAA

  • Aww fantastic video thank you so much Maha, i was also going to add you didnt teach us to say: No i dont have any children. I will assume from my brief arab encounter it is: La ana mish awlaad - haha i hope thats not too far off.

    Many thanks.

  • I'ndee bint.

  • مبدعه يا مها ... إستمري

    بالتوفيق ان شاء الله

  • If I want to say no I don't , is it correct to say.. "La i'ndee" ?

  • @sophyaaa hahahah no that's totally WRONG !

  • Such beautiful girl.

  • Lovely. <3

  • عقدي مخ الاجانبه لا امزح استمري ;)

  • bravo you speaks arabic very well, cause u spell words correctly

  • cool

  • Indakee Indaka Indi these are not verbs! Arabic has no verb for have. Ind عند actually is a preposition, you can also use the preposition lada لدی ladaya ladayka.... correct me if I am wrong I am not an Arabic speaker.

  • Maha how do you say two daughters, I get different responses from everyone I ask.

  • can abnaa' mean offspring?

  • can you put spellings?

  • Great lesson! :)

  • How would you say..."I don't have children" ? :)

  • @xKaramela lol im not the best arabic speaker, i try anyway i think you just add a "la" (no) because there is no word for don't in arabic. so, ana la i'ndee :)

  • love you maha, thank you !!!!!!!!!!!

  • اين الدرس رقم 2 يا مها

  • okay whats the difference between saying for example walad, or waladoon (with the tanwin)? what is a tanwin? hahaha im confused.

  • @mgregus97 I don't think U wanna know what does "tantwin" means, you see arabic language is a very hard language not only Bcause of spelling but it really had too many rules, a very complex rules, I mean seriosly if you set with us only 1 day in our arabic class then U really will be confused :D

  • Hi Maha,

    شكرا

    Greg

  • Ciao Maha ! grazie per questa lezione !!! Sei bravissima come sempre ! Volevo chiederti una cosa: si puo anche dire: ا لديك اولاد

    ?

    o هل لك اولاد

    ?

    Grazie in anticipo !!!

  • @MalakSalaam it will be like ur saying in English "you have children?" instead of saying " Do you have children?" so the word " Hal" will replace the word "Do" in English therefore it will be more logical to say " Hal 'indak awlad"

I hope this will be helpful .

  • Great video Maha...so helpful. I like how you go over and over the topic.

  • Mah'Allah

  • هل عندي اوللاد؟ لا

  • Very helpful. Thank you. :)

  • @linguaste i dont have children is: la indee awlaad

    La indee awlaad or

    la indee bint or

(i speak arabic to if you need something she dosent just ask me)

  • @cooldude94560

    shukran jazillan

  • @cooldude94560

actually the right way to say it is :

    laysa 3indee awlaad

or laysa 3indee bint ,, etc

with verbs you use (la) but with nouns u use (laysa)

    ( are u sure u can speak arabic ;) .. just kidding ;P )

  • @linguaste heh im a total beginner but im gonna say you would take "i have" and put 'not' or 'no' in front of it... so something like moo i'ndee or ma i'ndee (spelling phonectically)... maha?

  • @linguaste I don't have = lais endey

  • good ...maha.....

  • Maha, you are very helpful ! Thank you very much!

Can you cover things like, "what are you studying? "

"Do you like " ... Thanks in advance.

  • Maha I think the more proper way to ask if you have children is :

    Hal ladayka/i awlad?

  • I don't know why I love watching your arabic lessons although I'm a native Arabic speaker
