I have an old GM catalog from-72, it`s not obout the year, if you choose the RS package, the bumper was in two piece, if not, one piece, and you could add the RS package to a Z28 and then the bumper was in two piece.
This camaro is actually what they call a 71.5.. only difference between the 71.5 and 72 is the front bumper.. 71.5 has the 2 piece front bumper and the 72 has the one piece front bumper.. just thought id throw that out there

Insurance sucks in the US for young drivers too. My first car in my name that I bought was a 93 V6 3.4L Camaro. It was slow, but they stuck me for about $1200 in insurance over 6 months.
Yeah my Z28 got about 26mpg on the highway and about 15 mpg in city...less than that though, it's very difficult to keep from punching the gas in those things.
@Jims07yfz450 i think a street with no cars/people around is safer then a parking lot. you have a greater chance hitting someone in a parking lot then an empty street. especially if there are no homes around the street.
@diablowrathltd I understand what your saying I'm was just trying to use common sense because you know as well as I do that cars can come out of no where.. Plus if you go to an empty parking lot where it has a big open area you have very little chance of hitting anything..
Maybe you wouldn't think of hitting somebody where you were peeling wheel but it's easy to loose control and hit something on the side of a narrow street vs a big open parking lot....
