Some countries including Finland,Hungary,Romania and Bulgaria were closer to the Axis whereas sereral other countries such as Greece,Norway,Holland, Yugoslavia etc were closer to the Allies. Finland never signed the Tripartite Pact(Germany,Italy,Japan) but it was closer to the Axis than Allies.

@GhostDog780430 great work man. Thanks to your videos I learned about Sabaton and their magnificent songs! I adore history and especially ww2 so this group has become my favourite. I also like Sabaton due to the fact that they have created songs not only for the Allies but also for the Axists(wehrmacht,white death,wolfpack etc). These songs teach history. I am Greek so my favourite song is coat of arms. SABATON PLEASE VISIT GREECE!!!

@whinyrabbit The finnish winter war was a part of WW2. Some countries including Finland,Hungary,Romania and Bulgaria were closer to the Axis whereas sereral other countries such as Greece,Norway,Holland, Yugoslavia etc were closer to the Allies. Finland never signed the Tripartite Pact(Germany,Italy,Japan) but it was closer to the Axis than Allies.

@emmanouil89 White death is about a Finish sniper. Which Finland was never really a part of the Axis power. They were more close aligned to the axis but never signed the Tripartite Pact. Still, Sabaton is a damn good band!

had fucking awsome dream last night, i dreamd i was on a german sub in ww2 sinking convoys and we were listening to that song, but for somereason we were firing carrots instead of torpedoes.stil pretty awsome though, i was really pissd when i woke up

really nice vid but I would dedicate it to ALL seaman, who died in this war. Because on every side there were good men, ESPECIALLY in the u-boats, which often did not hear on hitlers order to kill everyone and some even helped allied crews of convoys after sinking their ship and showed them in which direction land is and let them time to get into their rescue boats. (But I don't want to say that there wasn't also evil ones)

@MrRammsteinKicksAss thats true.... that was what the japenese did. they didnt call SOS they forced the americans to die... example USS Indianapolis sunk by jap sub and the jap sub did not call for an sos and lef tthem to die

Go to the website uboat.net , select " The U-boats " in the main menu, them " Convoy Battles " and last " The Convoy System ", you will find the convoy " ONS ". All in this song of Sabaton is true , was a real fact ! Amazing. Congratulations to Sabaton to show us the true and not only fake American movies and documentals !

@Snakesky109 Not all is a fact. They are many mistakes:
1. "Ingham" wasn't in the convoy only "Spencer" (warsailors com OR convoyweb org uk OR book by Clair Blair "Hitler's U-Boat War" ),
2. "Bury stands in flames" - fake! "Bury" was OK and rescued people from sunk ships.
3. "half the convoy sunk or disabled" - another mistake!
The song is great, one of my favourites, but in lyrics is some mistakes.

More info box grammar/spelling nitpicking from robotminione:
- "dedicated" has an "e", not an "a"
-"dedicated to all Allied seamen" ("to all the Allies' seamen" or "to all [the] seamen of the Allies" are also options) ("Allies" is normally capitalized when referring to WWII)
- no comma
