@boopkid You can take your Winston Churchill and stick it wherever you like. We will never accept an excluding society again in Cuba. Now let me enjoy my Boleros.
Thank you for posting this, this is the Cuba of the 1950's I remember, one that had elegance, style and grace, and good hard working people enjoying the fruits of their hard work.
“Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”
@chicha1964 This is exactly why all of you low class third world monkeys hate Cubans, because of the refinement, elegance and success. It burns up all the "chichas"..chichilandias of the world. EAT CROW! Viva Cuba Libre! Abajo Fidel!
@USAHavana only who knows why you took your second comment away about Iran and Israel, which was totally irrelevant to the topic discussion. However, it is good to see people like you foaming in their mouth from anger and frustration. lol
@chicha1964 The one who foams at the mouth, who seeks out Cuban sites and is pathologically obssesed with all things Cuban, IS YOU! Classic projection. I, LIKE ANY OTHER CUBAN AMERICAN. could give three shits about Mexico, Iran or whatever thirld world toilet you spawned from, however YOU, post on Cuban American sites and we seem to be the center of your universe. We live rent free in that peanut you call a brain. We are the focus of your attention, why? Think about it, seek help!
@chicha1964: There was poverty, yes. But never the poverty of many of many socialist countries, or even of countries like Mexico and El Salvador TODAY. And I am a Marxist.
¡Que maravilla! Cuanta clase, estilo y refinamiento.
Wow, what elegance and style. Certainly an era long gone. What issue Life magazine was it? Muchas felicidades alos Cubanos con clase y elegancia, E. Pollack
loved the article as much as the music and photos.
...seemed ind of ridiculous though, wearing mink and sable in tropical weather. Paris fashion and lavish parties while so many others were in poverty.
thats usually what happens when people have way too much more than they need.... balance people, balance
Great video! I need your help. I am the great grandson of General Manuel Benitez. Just last year I learned of my family's history in Cuba. Any chance that you can send me the pictures of him and Dolores? I've been trying to gather research to learn more, but hi grandson, my father, past when I was 4 years of age in 1986 and have no contact with anyone in the family. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
