That is such an awesome way to finish off the braid!!! I was always having an issue finding a cone big enough to fit over the knot when I would use satin cord or any other thick thread/yarn. This is a great idea! :-)

Hi, I am using just basic yarn from a local retailer. You can use just about any kind of fiber when using the disk. S-Lon cord works great was well as silk and fun ribbons. Be creative because there are so many possibilities with this disk. Be sure and check back later because I will be doing videos on different patterns you can do with the disk.

I just finished watching your video "Using the Kumihimo Disk Part 2" - I'm assuming "Part 1" shows how to use a disk to create the cord?
